No, but it was quick.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

10 Resigned
10 Sacked

From a total of 40 (Resignings/Sackings) since Coyle was sacked.

Coyle has his work cut out as there is a 25% rate of sackings to getting another job. Even this is creeping towards his win ratio.

Certainly the case when polishing your crystal!

Thanks for the effort DJBlu, seems 14 wasn't a bad shout given the time constraint.

Didn't Appleton get sacked from Blackburn too? I'm out-of-the-loop but looking at your list it looks like most, if not all of them have found employment, except Coyle. Wowzers! He'll be waiting for the perfect opportunity, no point in going for the first thing that comes along! 8)

There have been 40 sackings/resignations.

Appleton did get sacked but is still unemployed. This list shows all those that have gone into employment since.

I'm quite surprised Coyle hasn't found another job. He's a better manager than others who have, such as Saunders or Ince. I'm assuming it's because no decent club will give him a job after just being sacked, and he won't drop down to a lesser club that he thinks he's above.

From what I've heard, Coyle's reputation within football is in tatters after what he did here.

People in football talk.

I'm sure someone somewhere will be stupid enough to give him a try at some point though possibly not at the level he may be looking for. Mind I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the negotiations......'what do you mean, we have to employ the fat lad eating a burger sat in your car outside?'

I believe that he was offered Blackpool but has ideas regarding his stature (and subsequent emolument) that have no basis in reality.

It was claimed at the time that Oyston wasn't impressed by the salary the Cptn. fancied .... but more so that he wanted to bring his entire team with him.

It wouldn't be the fat guy that would have concerned him so much as the defensive 'coach' team.

I read elsewhere that BWFCi doesn't know what he's talking about, so I trust read-elsewhere-anonymous-internet-sources implicitly.
