Coyle Left us in Good Shape...

Perhaps I'm late to the party on this and it's been posted already but...

Coyle is keen to get back into management following his exit from Bolton and believes he would be an asset to any club who takes him on.

He added: "I absolutely love football. If I wasn't involved in it, then I'd be away paying a fiver to play in five-a-sides because I love the game.

Coyle's managerial career
•2003: Falkirk (joint player-manager with John Hughes)
•2005-2007: St Johnstone
•2007-2010: Burnley
•2010-2012: Bolton

"What I do know is that at whichever club the opportunity arises for me, they're going to be very fortunate, because I'm the best manager I've ever been.

"Yes, I accept it's been a difficult last year, but coming on the back of the work I've had to do, I'm well set to go in and take another challenge.

"And that's the way football works. Everywhere I've been, I've been very fortunate to work at wonderful football clubs, and the next one will be the same.

"There will be opportunities. The phone's not stopped since I left last week

Owen Coyle is now the definition of "beyond delusional".

He probably was in good shape when he left. All that table tennis...

Sad really.

But his image remains good. Only tonight I was told what a good manager & great person he was ... by a Liverpool fan.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I read this on the beeb on the way home. Couldn't believe it. The man is delusional.

A cynic is man who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing - Wilde

I have a fax in my pocket - Gartside

I can't imagine the delusion and blatant denial is going to help him find any new gigs soon... Wonder if Garty and Davies will make future managers pass psych evals in the future...

Blind, aimless positivity with little thought or method. We know now that is what OC brings to the table. People are entranced by it and buy into it initially but once it fades that is all there ever was. He will be an apparent success at most places he goes to, as long as he doesn't stay longer than two years.

Very irrational comments from a deluded individual. Who is going to employ him after those comments.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Same sort of attempted reputation-saver interview which Megson had on the radio after leaving us, and then again about us after leaving Wednesday.

If they both did leave us the shape they say they did... we'd be in the Champions League.

What I do know is that whatever runway I'm on, I'll be the best runway coordinator I can be. And I'll get better all the time. Me and my staff are all about hard work and if we work as hard as we possibly can I'm sure that our quality will come through. I know that it didn't go very well at my last job, but to be fair there were a lot on injuries to deal with after the crash and well I'd only stepped away for a minute for a quick game of table tennis against Larry the fuel manager. He's very good, though I've not lost a game yet. People will say that planes crashing into each other and people lying dead and injured on the runway is not success, but I have left that airport in the best state its been in for years. I've cut the number of passengers passing through by half and at the same time reduced the number of planes landing and taking off there. They are a far sleaker operation now, though its sad that nobody wants to fly from or two there anymore. I'm sure that my mate Eric who is taking over my old job will find that I've left a fantastic legacy on a super runway and that he will enjoy the quality (and blood) I've left behind.
