Bogdan apart, K.D and Butterfield had the highest ratings in the B.N. match report.

That's 'cos he sat on the bench for most of the game. :)

Which of our vast array of forward firepower, do you think is good enough to replace him at the moment Willy? That's not meant to be a particularly leading question - just that I can't see Afobe and Sordell naturally slotting in any time soon on merit - only if the Gaffer determines there's no place for him.

I can recall saying he was a busted flush about 4 years ago and him bagging 11? the season after. I'm not convinced that's going to happen again, but he's already on 5?

I'd say NGog on the basis of that he can actually hold a ball up and moves faster than me carrying you on my back.

He's got 2 in as many starts (think I'm correct with that) and I'd really like to see him have a decent run in the side. KD's had his 300+ starts and it's well past time to move over. I believe it takes a number of consecutive games to settle in and at sometime we'll have to bite the bullet and give a new front man some games.

Same might have been true of Sordell but there's less empirical evidence there and it seems he has other issues.

This side of January (maybe the other side too :( ) I would agree N'Gog. That said, I do think for the time being Davies has plenty to offer off the bench. Particularly against tired legs.

I don't disagree with what you're saying but - to make a related point - Sordell is the proven goalscorer at this level. With a run in the side and a proper manager things could've turned out so differently.

Can Douggie tell me wtf Davies was doing with the chance 8 yards from goal with nobody in shouting distance, that he headed 6 yards wide?

Just had a look at the Rovers forum. Add them to the list of opposition fans this season moaning and wishing they had SKD in their team.

As team Captain, he wants to keep the non-scoring strikers spirits up, be missing a few now and again, just to keep the debate going on what value non-scoring strikers bring to the team. :D

A noble gesture by the Skipper, in my opinion.
