season ticket prices 2013/2014
Wanderers have announced prices for next season increase in prices icket pricing structure and information regarding the upcoming 2013/14 campaign
Bolton Wanderers have announced the ticket pricing structure for the 2013/14 season.
A number of new ticket categories have been introduced for next season.
The club will be extending the under-21 category for season tickets to under-23, whilst new schemes for junior members will see the introduction of an under-12 category.
The popular ten-month interest free direct debit scheme will also continue for the 2013/14 campaign, whilst plans are in place to develop a defined family area for match days in the upper tier of the north stand.
Other changes to the pricing structure include adult season tickets, with an increase in price of £10 that works out as a rise of £1 a month, under-18 season tickets have also been reviewed, with the new price working out from £3.04 per match, with concession season tickets increased by 50p a month.*
The early purchase deadline for all season tickets is April 2.

First increase in 8 years and to keep it so low is pretty good going. It's not a wrench to find an extra 43p per game or whatever it is.

It's just an inflation-matching rise too, which we've not even had for years.
Good stuff imo, we can't sensibly demand a much cheaper ST as we're in a lower division because the gate money is more important as a % of overall revenue now. (of course we can't be ripped off either, but I don't think we will be/are being).

Totally agree with this, just a bit disappointed that the early purchase runs out so soon, 2nd April as opposed to the usual June date. I'll be renewing as I have for the last 40+ years.Athers wrote:It's just an inflation-matching rise too, which we've not even had for years.

There are two early purchase deadlines though.Riviman wrote:Totally agree with this, just a bit disappointed that the early purchase runs out so soon, 2nd April as opposed to the usual June date. So I guess April is the "early early" purchase deadline!
EDIT: And I'm renewing, no question (only question is where to sit!). Only time I've ever questioned renewing in the last 20 or so years was last summer and that was down to the incompetent clown in charge. It seriously tested my resolve.

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
What's the financial difference between the April deadline and buying one in say, August?

If you're on the DD scheme, barely anything I'd imagine!boltonboris wrote:What's the financial difference between the April deadline and buying one in say, August?
Personally I get a bonus in June so I've preferred paying for mine on July 1st. I might do the scheme this time.

We pay by DD, but the missus just sorts it.. We do get the early purchase renewal, but I always thought it was a July deadline

From memory it was something like July 5th last year

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
Wonder why all family tickets are being moved from WSL to NSU?
Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
Possibly so I can hold court and bore the youngsters in the area about our new three at the back system.

That's a modest rise considering we'll be in the Prem.

Yes but less value for money because of fewer games.Bruce Rioja wrote:That's a modest rise considering we'll be in the Prem.

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
I'm in. Seat renewed. Another season of torture to come. I think that's my 19th consecutive year now. Can't complain at £360 (5% discount for lifeline) for an East Stand lower seat, back row near half way line.
Had no less than five confirmation emails from the club to confirm the purchase, so I'm pretty sure it went through okay!
Anyone else in Lifeline, by the way? It costs £8 a month and I save £20 on the season ticket. Plus there's always that chance of a good win. I picked up my first little win just this season and collected £70!

The whole structure looks kinda ageist to me. I thinkthe law allows for student-age discounts and Pension age discounts, but those ages are a bit arbitary.
I may sue.
I may sue.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: season ticket prices 2013/2014
Got my renewal pack today. What happens regarding moving seats? When do current season tickets holder seats come up for grabs? I am guessing there is a cut off to renew before losing your seat.
