Well if Wolves lose today they will be bottom as they are playing the only team below them (Bristol City) and will be 3 points from safety so Wolves to finish bottom is certainly not as bad a prediction as you may think.
I did all 4 at the start of the season during the summer holidays.

I'll rescind Wolves. But you've not a hope in hell on the rest.

had Derby to beat them 2-1, Derby we're 1-0 up when i did it so I thought they'd hold on... Leicester & Cardiff away is what cost us, I've got us down as losing to both of um.

I literally have done every possible formula for the premiership one and there is literally no way Reading an QPR can both stay up. :D .

Ok have used a random number generator to do the premiership and the championship using the numbers 0 - 9 below are the tables.

Premiership (position, team, GD, points in bold)
1.Un**ed 38 86
2.Citeh 16 69
3.Chelski 25 67
4.Everton 8 61
5.Spurs 4 61
6.Liverpool 34 57
7.Gooners 2 57
8.Norwich 21 55
9.Fulham 10 54
10.Swansea 2 54
11.West Brom -3 53
12.Stoke 0 47
13.West Aaaam -16 45
14.Southampton -7 43
15.Wiggin -18 43
16.Villa -33 43
17.Mackems -9 40
18.Georgies -26 40
19.Harry's Hilarious joke of a team -25 35
20.Rubbish Relegated Royals -23 32

Championship (position, team, GD, points in bold)
1.Sheepshaggers 36 94
2.Ull 21 79
3.The Italians 17 78
4.Palace 10 74
5.Bermondsey racists/scumbags 28 72
6.Forest 4 71
7.Leicester 18 68
8.Brighton 6 67
9.Boro 2 66
10.LeeLeeLeeLeeLeeds -6 65
11.Venky's chicken consortium -2 62
12.Barnsley 1 60
13.Derby -3 60
14.Dougie Freeman's not so super white army -14 60
15.Charlton -6 59
16.Peterborough 9 58
17.Dingles -1 58
18.Uddersfield -23 58
19.Blackpool -3 57
20.Wednesday -16 56
21.Bristol City -13 55
22.Ipswich -25 55
23.Birmingham -20 54
24.Wanky Wolves Wanderers -20 47

So lady luck of the random number generator is not shinning down on Bolton as expected. Good luck decoding some of the names :D .

Surely if it's a random number generator the likelihood of ManU, Chelsea and City being the top three would be unusual. I see you managed to place The Trotters more than halfway down the list. If you run it again then we could end up top. Trouble with random number generators, they're not generally random. But good try.

Using this more and more often in the run in. My optimism goes up and down based on results and the other teams are just as unpredictable! We may scrape in, just !

Stop this, ffs. HOPE kills.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

sounds about right - and we have an inferior goal difference to most of our play-off spot rivals...

tho a 23-1 result on Saturday could go a long way to turning that around, I think.

In the event we finish on the same points total as Forest, I guess goal difference would be very close.

In the event!

On a somewhat tangential note, here's a page from a stats-oriented sports website with 'calculated' odds for winning the championship (not looking good!), along with chances of promotion - it's updated weekly, and may be of some interest to the stat-minded among us....

I like the fact that we still only had a about a 3% chance of winning the Championship at the begining of the Season and that its called "Bolton Wanderers Title Chance" cos thats Nil now !! The rest of it seems more complicatd than trying to get a probe to Uranus :arse:
