Thought Mills was a loan

Something like a million upfront then the rest when he completes his loan?

Or something like that :pissed:

Nope. We signed him on a 3 year deal for a "Undisclosed fee"

Dawson said in an interview on Thursday/Friday(?) that he was concentrating on getting into the Baggies first team now and that he didn't foresee a return to the Wanderers. Gutted

Just read the Oracle and it could be on, Dawson not likely to get a start and if a fee could be agreed. Baptiste apparently more likely to go to Leicester though
Pfffft.

I will be amazed if we sign Dawson. However, I think Dawson would benefit from being here and playing regularly more than he would sitting on the bench at West Brom.

If we do manage to get him it will probably be our best piece of business for the past few years.

Didn't West Brom just get beat 4-0 by Norwich. I know you could throw the old 'nothing to play for' cliche in their (as we all did with Blackpool!) but seriously? He can't get into THAT defence?!

no shame on the absolute biased sample size as it helped prove my point!

Dawson would be the biggest signing of the summer if we pull it off IMO. Followed closely by someone who can put the ball in the onion bag regularly.
If this is even close to the truth it'd be amazing.

With the preponderance of midfielders at our disposal you're right, just an effective striker and maybe a full-back and we should have a real tilt at the top half next year.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The last line about us having to find the money to pay the other team suggests it's a piss take, to me.
