Ipswich Match Thread
Following on from the epic failure of pun based match threads, it's back to basics again.
Unfortunately, I feel another loss coming on 1-3.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
I we lose this we will be on exactly 1 ppg. That would be bad so I'm going to say a scraped draw. Like dougie says, it's bound to turn sooner rather then later .... isn't it?

Are we in a relegation battle yet?
We will be after this match I think.

if we're not challenging for playoffs - we might as well have a relegation scrap - it makes the end of the season more exciting...

You could have called it 'Tractor Basics'. That'd have been ace.Bijou Bob wrote:Following on from the epic failure of pun based match threads, it's back to basics again.

Crikey, I couldn't think of anything worse than trailing all the way there to watch the dross we're putting out.

We'll be the ones who take the most kickoffs.

See, Mr Glassistotallyempty, the correct spin on that is "The number of times we got the ball through the team to the halfway-line, without their guys getting near it, deserved better."Wandering Willy wrote:We'll be the ones who take the most kickoffs.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Did my initial Royal Navy training at HMS Ganges, just outside Ipswich. A whole year of depressing, grey countryside and people. Going back now for reunions gives me no joy beyond seeing old shipmates. Suffolk was designed to give everyone depression, flat and soulless so our boys will pitch up and the cloud will settle around them so I see another tanking on the horizon. Not a 7-0 but not far short.
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

You're right though - it's only a couple of years since I was derided as a rosetinter.
Where did it all go wrong?

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
I have never been to Ipswich before, looking forward to declaring of it what I will. Out of interest how can the countryside be grey? It is also the furthest east I have been in this country, if it like Clacton I certainly know what I will think of the town. Anyhow are any of you going or have you all gone on strike?
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
