Optimism mid season is a pernicious thing. Hurtful to the soul in the longer term.

Meanwhile I read that the Juke's price is £1m .... I wonder if that can be found. Also that Blackburn are using their time honoured scouting technique of "see who Bolton are after and go for them".

Absolutely amateur management. A one year deal won't exactly motivate the player and is a dead-weight loss if he's shit, and if by some blithering miracle he turns out to be half decent, then a Prem club will turn up and poach him for pittance in January or bugger all in the summer. Lose-lose.
