Yet no-one challenges my assertion that he's a c*nt?!

It is. It leaves "Going forward" which was the subject of a business-speak bollox thread a while ago.Prufrock wrote:I've no idea why anyone things there should be a full stop after surprise either, though I get the feeling that's a joke I'm not getting.

I think we'll be alright tomorrow... What are we all thinking team wise?
My guess would be:
Lonergan
McNaughton - Mills - Ream - Moxey
Spearing - Medo
Feeney - Danns - Chungy
Beckford
Go with one up top for an away game and try to counter attack (which is actually when we tended to look most dangerous last season)... I think Medo and Spearing are a bit too similar but they're also two of our best players, and I'd like to see Feeney and Chungy play and possibly swap sides at times (it's better than having Pratley start...). I think we'll see Wilkinson come on at some point possibly to take it to a 4-4-2 but I think packing the midfield and looking for space on the counter is our best bet.

Ah OK, thanks. So he meant he thought there should be a comma after 'surprise'. Now I'm with it.bobo the clown wrote:It is. I don't think it'll be far off that. Possibly Hall for Feney or Trotter for Medo.danardif1 wrote:I think we'll be alright tomorrow... What are we all thinking team wise?

, not that it extends as far as being able to spell Feeney, like.
And yes necessarily. 'Going forward' is not a sentence. Unless your not necessarily was aimed at 'Now I'm with it', in which case you may well be correct. It's been a sloooow morning.

The 'joke' was that 'Going forward' was the 'surprise'. Really wish I hadn't bothered now. It was amusing in my head.Prufrock wrote:, not that it extends as far as being able to spell Feeney, like.

So, Bobo's "glad to help" was premature!

Do you really need a fullstop after a smiley? A smiley isn't really a sentence, is it?

Is a full stop a tittle, or not? I'm getting confused.thebish wrote:Do you really need a fullstop after a smiley? A smiley isn't really a sentence, is it?

I'll be chuffed if we look compact at the back and we've moved on from last years problem where teams were driving a coach and horses through the centre of our back line
