Watford Away 09/08/2014 - Match Thread

Post by Burnden Paddock » Sun Jul 27, 2014 1:18 pm

Right. As last season's 'quirky' thread titles brought us no luck, I have decided to keep it simple this time around.

I'll go for 2-1 to the Whites!

So who's in/out/indifferent? I'll be there, if Bruce is still willing to drive a carload of idiots us lot there!

Il be there as will max, HMX and Devon White . Need to find the name of this pub we went to last time as it was cheap, had sky sports and had a good atmosphere, it was on an estate about a mile away from the ground. Were going to win 4-0 cause they've got Gomes in nets who is on a par with Alumina ("it's all your fault").
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Will you be getting the train into Watford High Street? Is that area not a better meet up place, if there are any decent pubs nearby? I'm assuming by High Street that it is central??

Oh and nice one, Bruce!!

High street is closest station to the ground and the pub, I walked from the Watford High Street station to the pub without any problems, there may well be places closer to the station but I doubt they will be as cheap and have Sky Sports. I will consult HMX/Devon White and find out exactly where it is, how walkable it is from station/to ground. Will get back to you but I am not particularly bothered which pub we all meet up in, as long as we all do.

I'll be there, and for pre-match drinks. May have a couple of days in London catching up with some friends.

Someone's getting over-excited.

I am excited, you have seen the start of a lot more football seasons then I have though Bobo so hopefully by the time I am your age I won't look forward to the football season.

don't be fooled, dan - bobo will be as excited as a puppy come start of that first game - it's just that he's trained himself not always to wet himself! 8)

No offence Dan, but with a name like that, it sounds as if it's a step down from the Harvester and has a flat roof! I may be wrong though!
