Re: Ram it home lads
Hang on though, another attempt on target as Dervite's header (from Feeney's cross) is saved. Comeback starts here! Europe in three years!

Sounded stadium wide.
The obligatory 2 goals conceded. Onwards and upwards...

Can't imagine the scenes at the minute.
Surely this has to be the result to send him packing.

The only good thing about that game were the boos at the end. Freedman has to go.
Re: Ram it home lads
How many shots on goal? I can remember only 2. It's awful.
Re: Ram it home lads
That cheshire cat grinning chairman of ours will still think he can change it.
I fear for our club.
If relegated we would find it extremely difficult to recover.

Re: Ram it home lads
Top teams in the table – an intriguing mix of managers with very much experience and very little (in this division).
Norwich
Forest
Watford
Ipswich
Wolves
Derby
Boro

I think they've counted some crosses that went within 20ft of the goal there!
Re: Ram it home lads
I can't believe we had 42% possession, that much. It looked as though Derby had more footballs than just one!

The booing was there looooooong before the end.
As much Gartside out as Freedman out.
Kudos to the two guys who returned their ST's to Mr Gartside halfway through the second half.
Freedman's position untenable now, in my opinion.

Not quite invasion, but two blokes returned their ST's during the second half....William the White wrote:Not at Macron - got back from London too late.
But just had text from mate - getting really nasty now. hostile chanting. Pitch invasion.

Oh and as for the match. I've seen better Sunday teams.
The number of times we hit it aimlessly out of play, with no one within 20 yards, was astonishing.
Mills more than most.
He has to go, before Wednesday.

I am a patient soul. I like to see managers given time. I want Freedman to be successful. But this is it for me - time to go, Dougie. I'm due a new username.
Formerly known as Meg'sEleven. And Owen'sEleven. And Dougie'sEleven. We're getting through them aren't we...
Re: Ram it home lads
The second half was a meek capitulation and effectively a training exercise for Derby. We've been shit before but not given up that easily. There really is no way back from this for Freedman. A genuinely appalling display. The apathy is so great that even the stewards couldn't be arsed to get those guys off the pitch, and when they did one of them came back on 2 mins later!
Freedman has said he got it horribly wrong and takes the blame for that. Makes a change I suppose, now time for Gartside to emerge from his bunker and do something about it.
They said on GMR that he's ignoring repeated requests for an interview, and I know he's doing the same with the BN. The wanker had to be dragged away from the microphones when things were going well.
They also read a tweet out on GMR from a Mr T Coffey, lovely stuff!

I missed the game, can someone explain what happened with the ST's episode?Worthy4England wrote:Not quite invasion, but two blokes returned their ST's during the second half....William the White wrote:Not at Macron - got back from London too late.

Two guys together? Did they approach the dugout?

... He did ... but only to suggest he played too open a game. So if he coukd do it again he'd be more defensive. Hardly accepting that his whole approach at the club is wrong.LeverEnd wrote:Freedman has said he got it horribly wrong and takes the blame for that. Makes a change I suppose.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Don't think we'll be hearing from Garty, unless it's to announce a sacking.

Re: Ram it home lads
Freedman's presser being tweeted by the club.
"We tried to out-football Derby and that simply didn't work - I hold my hands up for that."
"That said, we can't keep making silly individual errors that end up costing us goals."
"Derby were the better side and deserved the win. They'll be right up there come the end of the season."
"We understand the frustration right now, but we still have the fight in us, make no mistake about that."
