Re: Freedman gone
My God, how ridiculous is that?! I feel sorry for Forest fans. Freedman is the worst manager I've ever had the displeasure of watching on a regular basis, he's a joke, and not a huge improvement on the clueless Pearce. Terrible decision from them.

Re: Freedman gone
According to Sky Sports, Pearce hasn't been sacked but instead has been offered an alternative role
Still amazingly shocking appointment by forest but it still makes me laugh

Re: Freedman gone
I think initially he will do well, mainly due to the relief of not being managed by the hapless Pearce. Then it will go wrong.
Don't forget he had two good runs with us. I know he was terrible for the rest of the time but he isn't really, really bad. He is barely average at best.

Wow. Strangest of strange decisions.
Re: Freedman gone
Wow...just wow. Only in football can you be really bad at your job, get sacked, and then get another good job!! Madness....feel for them forest fans. Let's hope they get a good supply of depression pills
Re: Freedman gone
Forest better get ready for a lot of transfers incoming from Palace and Millwall...

Seriously shocked by this....
I thought that Freedman would have had to go down to league 1 or 2 level to finish his apprenticeship for a few years....feel sorry for the Forest fans - whoever sanctioned this at Forest wants sectioning !

Re: Freedman gone
So late in the transfer window, but, thankfully, loans continue.
Maybe he'll be in for Trotter and Moxey.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Why are folk laughing?
Freedman is the greatest manager to walk the face of the Earth. They'll be Champions of Europe within three years.

Re: Freedman gone
We used to have a knob-head come on here who was a Forest fan - UptheM61 or some such. Dunno quite what his problem was with Bolton, but I can safely say, I'm delighted for the fcuker.
Re: Freedman gone
I wish him no ill. Will be interesting to see if he can do what Coyle couldn't and learn from his mistakes here. I'm not holding my breath.

Re: Freedman gone
As I recall UpTheM61 was upset because of the disrespect we showed to The Great Club. I don't think he's been back since Pearce took over.Worthy4England wrote:We used to have a knob-head come on here who was a Forest fan - UptheM61 or some such. He doesn't need any new players. When he was Our Dougie he was quoted as saying about Forest:danardif1 wrote:Forest better get ready for a lot of transfers incoming from Palace and Millwall...
Put a bit of pressure in himself there.“We watched them and the depth Stuart has got in his squad is pretty much as good as you’ll get in the Championship.
“He can play two teams and two benches with good quality players at this level of football.
“It’s hard to know what side he will pick but in the last few weeks he’s picked up Chris Burke, Michail Antonio and Britt Assombalonga to give him that confidence boost. It’s something I’m trying to do – get those attacking players in as the final piece of the jigsaw. But with £8m it’s a bit easier to do. "

Dougie Freedman now occupies a position previously held by Brian Clough
