Agreed. Not the "easy choice" but one which has taken some nuts. You are far too wise for this site.twilight wrote:I have stood back since Freedman was sacked and waited to see which man Gartside & the board were going to choose....let's face it, they have had a good choice to opt for considering where we find ourselves so far.
I have kept neutral, thinking to myself that whoever they chose would have my full backing....
I have to admit I think Gartside has had some balls choosing lennon (whether it's a good option remains to be seen). But at this moment in time I say well done Gartside & the Board
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
does this mean that lenny and co have also gone? I never saw anything about them leaving - only freedman - or is it now considered to be automatic that a whole entourage departs?
Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
I'll be honest, I was holding out for Hierro with Campo as his assistant, but I'm happy with this appointment.
Re: Lennon announced on Offish site
Aye. Lenny was asked to take charge against Bournemouth supposedly. He refused and left by mutually along with that other fella that sat on the bench and didn't do a lotthebish wrote:does this mean that lenny and co have also gone? What no dioufy?
Be interesting to see how Lennon gets on with the shambles. Much more positive about this than when Dougie was appointed - difference being I can see why Lennon has been appointed, whereas Dougie was a WTF

also from that Celtic topic - early transfer rumour mongering....
I'm thinking Hooper might be on his way to Bolton in January then.
Also, good luck Neil!

For a man with a chance of probably a more lucrative offer abroad, it's heartening to see him choose Bolton Wanderers. Our good history must have worked the magic.
