Lennon Out

Post by fatshaft » Sun Oct 12, 2014 8:16 pm

Well, what a fecking disaster you boys are staring at now. This guy makes Neil Warnock seem saintly. An utter utter bell end with a massive chip on his shoulder.

I say you boys, because while I no longer reside in south britain, I still follow BWFC. No longer though, until this c*nt has been booted out.

I cant support a guy who spread heinous lies about Dons fans and never at any point offered an apology, even after a police investigation found not a single shred of evidence for his pish.

As a fellow tattie I echo, if not fatshaft's words and reasons, then his reticence.

Lennon is unproven in England and I think Hughton was the better option.

Time will tell, but Lennon can be a divisive firebrand when he wants. Though if he doesn't ruffle feathers indoors and fosters good team spirit I doubt many here will care. :D

I think its a case of lets hope this is the right appointment. Not fussed about his successes / failures elsewhere but bothered about what he can deliver.

Hughton would've been my preferred choice but i'm sure he would've had other options and better suited teams.

Close this thread FFS..

Give the guy a chance and if anybody doesn't want to associate with the club then feck off.. Being a fan isn't about picking and choosing when you support your club.

There is an argument that we should leave it open so that the naysayers can illustrate what pricks they are.

I think that we should let them keep digging for a bit.
God's country! God's county!
God's town! God's team!!
How can we fail?

guesses on him using the term "this club" = 5 minutes.

on someone on here making a "i wish they'd let mark chapman out of prison, to finally get this useless bastard out of MY club" = 14 months

on someone posting the AP stats of the next match to prove he's better than freedman = half time

on someone to refer to him as some inanimate object like , i dunno, a lemon or lemon pledge = 12 weeks

I guess whilst the thread is re-opened then, it might be worth (it won't, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt) trying to understand Fatty's angst.

As I understand it

1) Lennon attended a match between Aberdeen and St Johnstone, scouting
2) He said someone [Aberdeen Fans, I think is inferred but not sure actually said anywhere] had thrown a coin which hit the bloke in front and a drink that hit some press bloke's computer. Said it wasn't on and someone could've got hurt. The "bloke in front" supposedly passed the coin to a Steward (I'd've bagged it personally).
3) Police looked into it and couldn't find sufficient evidence to charge anyone
4) Some fans reacted like he'd eaten live babies.

Is that about the top and tail of it, or is there something I've missed?

I think you missed the bit where the bit in bold is taken as incontrovertible proof that Lennon invented the whole thing, presumably including the journalist whose computer was hit.

Aye - when I listened to the interview he gave regarding the Aberdeen "thing", he didn't mention religion. :-)

I was expecting him to rip into his best Ian Paisley voice and start issuing demands that Don's fans were smited, whilst he ate babies during the interview.
