Peeters and Lee - Charlton (a) 21/10/14

Post by TonyDomingos » Fri Oct 17, 2014 10:01 pm

How will their manager set his team up to deal with Chungy?

Anyway, I'm starting this thread a little early so that the London / SE TWs have time to organise a rendezvous. The Antigallican from 5:30pm onwards perhaps? http://www.antigallicanhotel.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I should be there by 6:00pm. Dan, your first coke is on me. I'll get you a drink as well.

Charlton was for a good few years the must attend away of the season

Shame what it has become

But if you are going, the Antigallican is one of my favourite haunts - it is shite, though

It was the meeting place when played them last season. The scene of some excess drinking, though as you say, shite.

Charlton Liberal Club is better, cheaper and nearer the ground, but the extra effort to get TWs there doesn't seem worth it! http://www.charltonliberalclub.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All of the above is true, the Antigallican sells Tesco value cola by the pint for £2.35, it is absolutely horrendous stuff. On second thoughts Tony D could you make it a lemonade.

Ha ... Tony. Remember this phrase " ... it's like herding cats".
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Rather a cat than a sheep.

I know where the Liberal club is.

A simple decision is all that's required.

In theory.

A decision for a braver man than me. The only decision I'm taking is to say, whatever the venue, we're meeting inside. :D

So is it the Antigallican or the liberal club?

Does Lennon know you load of jinxing buggers are turning up? What've you seen? 3 wins in about 10 years between you? Second game in and all, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. :-)

My last 3 games have seen us lose 11-1 on aggregate...and one of them was a 0-0! Though it was against Charlton so #wellearnedpoint.

In my experience Domingo has a 100% record.

Always gets his round in.

Don't usually post on here, more of a silent lurker, but it's so refreshing to see such a buzz around the place again. I've got my ticket for Tuesday night (even if means probably eating baked beans until payday), first time since Cardiff 1-1 away, feels good to be back.

Errrrr...... I haven't. I've assumed it's pay at the gate, but can anyone confirm??

That aside, I'm feeling decisive - Antigallican on the grounds that it's the "away" pub, so there will be no queuing at the bar. That will be helpful in ensuring we consume the five pre-match pints that seem to be obligatory for London TW meet ups.

Finally, I've seen us 11 times over our two and a bit seasons in the Championship - W1, D4, L5. I'm due a win!

Hope it's Tuesday night. Back to back wins would work wonders. ;-)
