Eidurs home
Re: Gudjohnsen training with the squad
I was at Maine road when he first played for us.
Colin Todd was raving on about him being strong as on ox.
Also playing was a Danish fullback on trial, cannot remember his name. We didn't keep him.

Also, it's not a great pic so I'm not sure, but is the one photo the Guardian found to use of him a photo of him scoring for Chelsea AGAINST us?!

Makes you wonder what is so complicated, or why we couldn't have sorted it sooner.

Re: Gudjohnsen training with the squad
Fantastic....excellent news, once he gets up to speed he'll be a real asset - hopefully he can do enough in the next 5 months or so to get another 1 year deal next year to help in our promotion push next season.
The reception he'll get when he gets on at the Macron will be brilliant....NL has certainly brought the feel good factor back to BWFC

Re: Gudjohnsen training with the squad
Fantastic news. I never in a million years entertained the idea that he'd eventually return. Brings back so many memories.

Re: Gudjohnsen training with the squad
Been picking up a few reactions locally today amongst the Whites faithful. All of them, including my Liverpool supporting neighbour are well impressed at us getting Eidur. Here's hoping we celebrate with a win, even if Eidur doesn't play this game (hope he does, but with F.I.F.A involved and it being Friday. .....COME ON YOU WHITES......
