The draw is live on BBC2 now and we are number 7.

This might be cause for an unscheduled trip to the mighty Macron.

I used to love the FA cup. I just can't get beyond 'Meh' these days. The magic seems to have gone.

Summed it up for me when the Blyth Spartans lot pulled their faces when they drew ex Premier League side and recent league cup winners Birmingham at home.Bijou Bob wrote:I used to love the FA cup. I just can't get beyond 'Meh' these days. The magic seems to have gone.
Greedy bastards, I hope they get walloped 9-0

Didn't watch the game but a mate reckoned Spartans were very lucky to go through?boltonboris wrote:Summed it up for me when the Blyth Spartans lot pulled their faces when they drew ex Premier League side and recent league cup winners Birmingham at home.Bijou Bob wrote:I used to love the FA cup. I did, and I didn't think that they were lucky at all. Hatrlepool are as poor a side as you'll see though. And I can understand them being pissed off with the draw. I remember when we used to battle through to the third round only to draw the likes of Coventry. A shit tie holding no appeal to anyone and what's more - you're going out. Hardly likely to be turning cartwheels at the prospect, are they?TANGODANCER wrote:Didn't watch the game but a mate reckoned Spartans were very lucky to go through?boltonboris wrote:Summed it up for me when the Blyth Spartans lot pulled their faces when they drew ex Premier League side and recent league cup winners Birmingham at home.Bijou Bob wrote:I used to love the FA cup. Blyth's FA Cup started before the first round proper, I think they can be forgiven in hoping for a premier league side. Quite possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of their players and staff.

Was talking about the live draw TD. They had a couple of people there and they couldn't look more disappointed if they'd triedTANGODANCER wrote:Didn't watch the game but a mate reckoned Spartans were very lucky to go through?boltonboris wrote:Summed it up for me when the Blyth Spartans lot pulled their faces when they drew ex Premier League side and recent league cup winners Birmingham at home.Bijou Bob wrote:I used to love the FA cup. Didn't we pull Coventry in the third round when they were the Cup holders? I went to the game - three down by ht IIRC.Bruce Rioja wrote:I did, and I didn't think that they were lucky at all.
