Apparently, an appeal on Kickstarter has already raised £1/4m towards this...

I heard Chungy had to be scraped off (whatever that means) last night.

I heard Chungy lost a leg on the pitch. Probably won't get more than £1m for him now.

I heard they had to rinse Chungy out of the pitch last night. Could be out of their next game.

You'll have it a while longer yet, too.Enoch wrote:Got my fingers crossed Pardew stumps up the cash.

So effectively (it's a question) if Chungy's injury was serious and nobody comes forward right now, Bolton could end up paying for him to be treated and got ready to move on to a new club for free in five months?

Indeed. And sadly it won't be the first time either.TANGODANCER wrote:So effectively (it's a question) if Chungy's injury was serious and nobody comes forward right now, Bolton could end up paying for him to be treated and got ready to move on to a new club for free in five months?

The amount of players who have run down their contracts and buggered off somewhere better pales in comparison to the number we bin off with little ceremony every year. I wouldn't feel too sorry for us.
I'm of the opinion that us getting into the playoffs is a fanciful long-shot, let alone winning them. If we can get money for Chungy and replace him with Commons it's a no brainer.
