When we first went up me and my mates couldn't get tickets for the Anfield Rd end so we went in the Main Stand. Surprisingly the locals were very friendly and accommodating. They were 4-0 up at the time, mind you.General Mannerheim wrote:need four otherwise im in the Kop!

yep sold out. ffs.
Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)
Well, 5,500 isn't the full allocation we're allowed, so I can only hope that due to the demand we will get more seats and they will go on open sale.

i would have thought when we accepted the 5500, the other 2500 (we apparently refused) will have gone on sale to scousers!?Dr Hotdog wrote:Well, 5,500 isn't the full allocation we're allowed, so I can only hope that due to the demand we will get more seats and they will go on open sale.

You never know what goes on behind the scenes. I'm sure there's more demand from Notlob fans to sit in that stand than there is for Liverpool fans - it'd be to the benefit of both clubs to sell as many tickets to Bolton fans as they justifiably can. Clearly the demand is there. If the club did refuse an extra 2500 seats then they are frankly fecked in the mind.General Mannerheim wrote:i would have thought when we accepted the 5500, the other 2500 (we apparently refused) will have gone on sale to scousers!?Dr Hotdog wrote:Well, 5,500 isn't the full allocation we're allowed, so I can only hope that due to the demand we will get more seats and they will go on open sale.

Well Liverpool only started selling tickets today, and even then only to 'Priority Rights Holders' (whoever the feck they are, ST holders can get theirs from tomorrow). They could've quite easily asked for more in advance of this morning, given it was clear we were going to sell out.
I don't think you can blame the club too much though. I'd have never thought we'd sell out 5,500 before reaching open sale.

Like me, they're probably shocked that so many have gone so quicklyDr Hotdog wrote:You never know what goes on behind the scenes. Neil Lennon has brought football back to the Bolton fans and they are responding.
Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Fields of tw@t'n'cry - Liverpool (a)
Incidentally, looking at WWays it sounds like the club are ringing up all the people who were able to buy multiple tickets using one ST, and asking them to provide further ST numbers or lose the extra tickets. If that's true... A) What a miserable job that is, B) They can't possibly know how many they've actually sold and C) Fair play to the club for rectifying their mistake rather than just taking the money.

hope we get the rest of the stand. its years since there was so much interest in bwfc . make the most of it and get the fans excited again .. 8000 of us would be great to see in someone elses stadium ... just hope we don't have another semi final experience
