Nervy time (well, a bit) as we enter the last furlong. They still sound interested and Wheater is robbed before he blocks two efforts from Lua Lua . Well done Dave. Come on Whites......

Approaching five mins of normal. They come again and Texiera lets it go out of play. Phew! And now.......Commentators have a nice chat about Watford before announcing a free kick to them. Eidur tries to feed Alf but them win it back before we get a throw. Ping and Pong as they go from Texiera who wins a corner. And.....Moxey is replacing Danns?

Eidur heads it away and the ref refuses Alf a foul before they reclaim it and come again. Texiera again, who sounds to be their man of the match to me, but it peters out. COME ON......

85th min: Rotherham go in front against Millwall, who are (as it stands) now nine points behind Bolton.

If it stays as is, we'd also only be two points behind 12th-placed Charlton.

Now Clough and Alf lose it and they clear and attack but McNaughton whacks it clear. New ball and they try a couple before we break and win a corner with about four left......Crowd making the noise and.....Bannan hits a poor one and somehow we finish up with a throw. And....ref gives a goal kick but Big Dave heads it out and now, we recover it but now they have another throw. Ping and Ponf with a bit more pong from then and.....Moxey puts it in the stand.......and.......throw and....another and.....Calderon and.....we half-clear it and....Moxey clear and.....it's our throw and......YESSSSSSS 1-0 US. Over and out..... :oyea:

Great result , I particularly like the zero in the goals against column . Happy to see milwall go down . Putting a healthy distance between us and the bottom three .
Thanks to tango for the updates .

Ace. Some helpful results elsewhere, too. Confirmed that we are now in 17th, 9pts clear of Millwall (who lost) and 2pts behind 12th. 19pts behind the play-offs, so that ship has sailed, but we're only 6pts behind 10th place.

5 goals in 7 league apps (6 if you count FA cup!) for Clough now, on fire that kid. Was he this prolific for the Dev squad? Could this be our 15 goal a season striker.

are there place-related cash bonuses in the championship as there are in the prem?

Don't think so. But it would be better for morale (and recruitment) to finish 10th than say 16th. :D

I noticed he's now our top goalscorer by himself... after a handful of games.

Dull, dull game won with about the only bit of real quality - a great goal. More clean sheets in our next 2 home games and I'll start feeling safe.
