I'd like to see Alf and Rochina upfront. With rochina in the hole! Feeney and janko on the wings and maybe Coke and Slachev. (do not like trotter) would prefer vela in the middle but that'd leave us short at full back. Not a fan of of 3-5-2

3 5 2 would leave us exposed down the flanks if the wing backs don't cover the defensive space . If they like to get crosses in you want them lumped in from deep rather than cut back from the byline . I'd like to see rochinha start but I can't see us starting without Heskey / cravies . There will be spells where Wigan are on top and we will need an option to knock it long and get possession up field . Without Heskey/cravies we won't have that option , it'll cone straight back and we'll stay under pressure . Trying to play through the middle against a team with momentum doesn't usually work . Slavchev seems to be forgotten . I could see janko being useful in a more central position and certainly there's success to be had running at their back four but whether janko can be trusted to do the defensive side necessary is questionable . In the long term janko could become an exceptional centre mid he has the physicality but needs to develop the focus when we don't have possession .
I have a feeling bannan will start today and rochinha may well be on the bench . If we play 442 I can't see how rochinha would be in the starting 11. If janko and feeney are both fit they seem more likely to start out wide as they offer more defensively as well as being decent going forward . Hopefully rochinha will get on at some point though . If feeney doesn't make hay running at Emerson Boyce rochinha probably would .

Got a feeling we're going to lose this.

Wigan haven't won at home since August so they're definitely due one and we're usually the team that loses those games.

What's the matter with you all? We're going to win. Buck up. One goal or ten, who cares as long as we get the three points. On with it...

Lot of work for Trotter and Bannan in that team!

Soft as shite in midfield again. Tom Walker in defensive role. We will lose.
Then again, maybe Wigan will be rubbish enough to let us get away with it. They need it a lot more then we do though.

Wow ... astonishing.

Pies, ready....Pasties ready....On your marks......Away....Alf wanting a free kick right off. Not getting it of course. Al Habsi clears...Feeney puts one out on halfway. Alf goes.....and shoots across the box and wide. 4500 Bolton fans is the news. bit of to and fro and we get a throw near their box. Goal kick. Feeney appeal for a push denied.Lively start. Heskey, Ream and Walker slips.
Heskey getting early good words.

Heskey fouls a pie and they get a free. And....Heskey and Walker set us off but Al Habsi has it and clears. Mills does well and sets Bannan off. Back and forth as commentator rambles on about Tottenham. Walkr and Heskey but Al Habsi trying for man of the match already. Now Feeney and....Roschina loses out. Alf feeds one to Heskey who wins a throw. And.....and....we win a corner as Roschina sallies their box. And, short and a poor clearance and an equally poor forward ball. Heskey causing havoc, say the man between babbling about things that don't matter.

Throw us, Trotter gives a free away that the man says ws unlucky. Five foot six, ten stone Penn ant gets annoyed at the ref. And now.....Bannan has to take a free kick again...says the ref. And...Ream, Walker, Alf getting pushed about. Bollox to Bury man, tell us about Bolton. Habsi wallops one forth that leads to a cross and mic man mumbles about penalties. Don't be silly man. Pennent breaks and........it's 1-0 the pies......is it? .Is it???
