Fine by me. Dougie would only have spent it on another Trotter or Moxey.

For me one of the many joys of football isn't the positive aspect. Sure winning games is fine and everything but what could be more fun in throwing a spanner in the works of a title chasing team, getting an oppising manager the boot or hammering the final nail in a relegation bound teams coffin?

I've always taken more delight out of a last minute equaliser than a last minute winner because I feel it has a more demoralising effect on the opposition.

But for this game, come on Bolton let's do the honourable thing eh? Let's put about six past these tossers and send 'em packing.

While I enjoy the Lancashire derbies and if it was a choice of say Blackpool going down or Millwall going down no the last day then I'd wish our local rivals all the very best but seeing as there's not really much hope for them I'd love to see 4,000 glum faced Tangerines, possibly with one or two crying at full time.

Come on you Whites.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

I think on the day, worse, but only because we've got so many big players injured.

Any side that doesn't include that giant shithouse, Knight, is automatically rendered better. ;)

Any team with The Twins in deeeeeep midfield is going to be light in attack. It's notable (and praiseworthy, for player and new manager) that Danns has gone uncomplainingly from attacking midfield to protective warhorse. Juke & Mase were a good double act, although I'd like the big man back more than young Joe, who might struggle to get past ALF, Clough, Clayton, Mavies etc... in that perfect world where all are available.

Is it just me or do our interviews always sound like interrogations? Either that or N.L always comes in sounding defensive?

Anyone know if the fanzone is open tomorrow? If so, anyone fancy a catch-up?

Still herding cats then ?

I'll give you a bell if all is to plan.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

As Rotherham lost yesterday, we can't send poor old Blackpool down this afternoon. But, I'm hoping for a relatively comfortable win. 2-0 to the Whites. :D

Never really forgiven Stan Matthews for 1953, but not really bothered whether they go down or stay up; it's immaterial. Just want the three points. Get out there and get em lads. :oyea:

Peeeeeeepp!

Macron "bathed in sunshine!" says the man as we go to it. Early seaside visit after an opening ping-pong from us. Amos gets an early touch and...ref not giving Easter free kicks. They charge and put one in row z (or thereabouts) before we go and ...go offside. Roschina getting early praise before O'Hara lashes a fifty yarder to ..nowhere. Walker getting a good work before we set off and.....Feeney just loses out and we get a corner.....and.....waste it. Bright start.

Bannan gets a few comments early for being involved. Amos leathers one and Walker does well but the Tangerines clear. They get a free kick around halfway and....we get it, they clear it. Now Vela then......Ream charges in and....it fizzles out. They come and....ir's 1-0 them.
