I imagine even in this current heatwave that added a little warmth to one spot on the south coast.

Can't wait for today's developments!

I confess I'm confused by all this talk of unattached ex Preston players on our burgeoning transfer thread. :|

Just remember who "us", actually is, P.W. I think it's spelled "Phil Gartside" and more than one on here has had a dig in that particular potato patch.

If he does sign a CB, surely with money so tight, it means one of Ream, Wheater, Dervite or Baptiste will be moving on?

He's represented Spain at every level from U16 - U21

Yes, but no exaggeration is needed in this case as he's been tweeting his whinges for all to see. Beginning to wonder if Emma does his tweets. She was in PR wasn't she?
All I've seen is that he's irritated they named him on the retained list, and 5 weeks later changed their minds, thereby limiting his chances of getting a new club. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

I imagine all transfer activity will slow until Lennon is ruled out or leaves for leicester. One might suggest that PW's inactive transfer thread may cost us a manager? :conf:

Nixon says he's writing an article on Derik Osede to Bolton for tomorrow...but doesn't confirm its happening.

Is he "ITK' ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

We've been linked with a lot of centre-backs, considering we've a surfeit of those and a shortfall of full-backs.

See also: central midfielders vs wingers.

All very odd.

Maybe he's pursuing this, but if a stellar option becomes available he will take the opportunity, and risk being able to offload/rejig the squad later?

A Spanish U-21 international would fit that bill.

But on reflection - Craig Morgan wouldnt :?
