Delroy Facey

Post by Zulus Thousand of em » Mon Apr 13, 2015 11:05 pm

Sky News just reporting on a trial that's taking place. Delroy Facey is up before the judge for allegedly being involved in match fixing. The Sky News reporter describes him as 'former Bolton Wanderers striker'.

Well, fair enough, I suppose. He did turn out for us - on 10 occasions.

He also turned out for:

Huddersfield Town - 75 times.
Bradford City - 6 times.
Burnley - 14 times.
WBA - 9 times.
Hull City - 21 times.
Huddersfield Town (again) - 4 times.
Oldham Athletic - 9 times.
Tranmere Rovers - 37 times.
Rotherham United - 40 times.
Gillingham - 32 times.
Wycombe Wanderers - 6 times.
Notts County - 63 times.
Lincoln City - 31 times.
Hereford United - 40 times.

So, what makes us so special then?
God's country! God's county!
God's town! God's team!!
How can we fail?

COME ON YOU WHITES!!

I thought the same thing. My mate reckons it because he played for us in the prem and all the others lower down. Can't be arsed to check if true. Irritating though.

They always mention the 'biggest' team, particularly in article titles and URLs to entice clicks. Theory being that ex Barcelona forward is more interesting than ex Bolton forward and will therefore garner about a gazillion more clicks. I blame DSB

Two and a half years. Greedy sonofabitch not happy with the wages he was stealing? Tosser should have got 10 years. 8)
