Re: 2015/16 pre-season
First time I've seen the development squad. Maher looked Ok and Woolery has strength and pace, but if any of the others make it anywhere, I'd be amazed. I can't see any of them anywhere near the first team and that includes White and Taylor.

Was that Finney playing? Who the hell even is he?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Born at the start of Euro 96 (Soccerbase and Transfermarkt say the first day, bwfc.co.uk the third), he's a centre-back Freedman signed last August.Prufrock wrote:Was that Finney playing? Who the hell even is he?
Despite being born in Huddersfield, he'd been picked up by Spurs as a kid and switched to the Leyton Orient academy at 15. They offered him a pro contract but he chose to move to us (according to one report, he wanted to move back north); we therefore had to pay a development fee – undisclosed, but probably about 10 days of Matt Mills wage.
Prematurely balding. Not that that matters, just thought I'd mention it.
And in case you think that's just a bad camera angle, here he is at Orient:
Good luck to him.

He also seems to have taken a bullet in the forehead.

They spent an entire half talking about what cars they wanted and how much his insurance on his car was. 4 grand, if you're interested.bobo the clown wrote:Tapping off ?Bijou Bob wrote:Nah, Finney was sat at the side of me chatting to Twardziks (I think) wife.

We know what that means.

Re: 2015/16 pre-season
Mark Davies should feature against Charlton, says Lennon:
Ream and Wheater might also feature. It’s a big boost for us, and he’ll feel the benefit of being back out there. He adds something extra to us and I thought he played pretty well. He’s a good footballer. He hasn’t played since Paderborn [until the game at Vale], and he did get a nasty challenge there, but he’s recovered well and he looks to have come through it well. We’ve got another game on Friday, so that will give him another chance to get out there and get some more football in him.
You look at who is coming back and we’ve got the likes of Zach Clough, Darren Pratley, Emile Heskey, Tim Ream, Max Clayton and David Wheater to go in there. We do want to add some more but what we have got there is a pretty solid squad.

No Fvckin' chance.. Not buying a season ticket than pissing about with a tenner to watch us against a team that I've already paid to watch us against in a matter of weeks / months

@OfficialBWFC: GOAL! Darren Pratley beats Nick Pope with a glancing header from Stephen Dobbie's free-kick to put #BWFC ahead! (24) 1-0.

Re: 2015/16 pre-season
Derik Osede leaps above 6ft 7 Simon Makienok to head a testing cross clear much to the delight of the home supporters .

1-1 HT
Re: 2015/16 pre-season
Feeney 2-1. I like the sound of Feeney playing in a more centrally forward role behind the striker.
