Unbelievable.....Not sure how this is happening off what's sounded all uss. Two down with forty gone after all that possesion. Please Lord, send us a striker who scores goals.... We go and....Prince, Silva.....Danns, Moxey...cross and..
plenty "over to you Claude" before they clear. We step cautiously forward and...the keeper cuts Madine out. They come again and....win a corner. Zamora causing some havoc. We need a quick goal to get back in it and....they miss a free header. Is this really happening? And.....Danns makes it 1-2... :oyea:

Hope flares and the crowd awake to sniff the air. Wheater shephards one out for a goal kick. Danns thundered a rocket to score and if we can just.....free kick for a foul on Wellington and.....an effort from Clayton is cleared. Now's the chance to show some balls and get amongst them. Pizano, Feeney, Davies, Wheater.....and we lose it but Mark Davies reclaims from Zamora. Silva, Pizaro....Davies....and cleared to Danns. Some possesion and......and.....a good sounding move ends as the keeper saves. Some Scottish fire and brimstone needed in the teepee at half time and...who knows....Clayton, Damns, Feeney.....and the keeper grabs it as Part One endeth. 1-2..the score.

It's just so frustrating how soft we can be... All that possession and no lack of shots on target and they score with their first one and then hit us again a few minutes later.

It's like we give every opponent an ice hockey-style powerplay period...

Glad we got one back. Stats and reports indicate we've been doing well.

I would dearly f*cking love Madine to equalise. From a Feeney cross ;-)

Surely N.L can fire us up to make all that dominance count and not only score again, but go on and win. The goal came at a good time and must have raised hopes amongst the players as well as the fans. COME ON YOU WHITES... Part the two'th... :oyea: :oyea:

Here we go......Davies sallies, Madine holds it up ( after a bad pass) but they sally forth. Throw us and..Feeney's cross is cleared. Throw them. Balldock wins the first corner of the half. 13,500 announced as a crowd figure and a sloppy effort gives us the ball back before they claim it and Rosenior is offside. Zamora showing what a good front man is all about. Moxey, Silva and......ohh, a Clayton good effort is cleared for a corner. Feeney and.....no, Silva, cleared but we reclaim. Danns does well and sets us off. Moxxey slips up amd we get a free kick. Feeney and....Pizano and....Stockdale bosses the box and clears. Zamora gets a shot deflected for a corner and.....we somehow get it clear after sloppy stuff. Now it's Prince passes to Anthony Axford who gets a sponsorship mention and...we get a "lucky" free kick. Balldock gets a card as they clear their ranks and...charge us for a corner. Amos goes in the book for chucking the ball into the crowd. Now then...cleared, and.....Roenior makes Amos make a good save. Moxey's poor header started that.

Moxey goes, they clear but we reclaim via Davies and Pizano......ohhh, handball claim ignore before Prince stars in defence. Throw us well down and bollox to Arsenal and Liverpool. Now us, Davies comes....and Moxey loses out as they break. Silva doing well and saving the day. We still sound capable but they are ever eager to get at us. They come at us and Wheater escapes a caution and we sally forth again and Clayton buzzes fort as Zamora leaves the sward. Thirty to go and there's time.....come on.....Moxey, Wheater, Davies, Moxey again, Prince tries one from Horwich and....

We come again and.....the ref cocks up and gives a free the wrong way according to mic man. They sally and....we claim it via Wheater and now one of the Gulls swoops down to taste grass. And now.....Pizano gets a mention and so does Anthony Axford as the wounded soldiers get treatment. And.....when we finally get back on the game.....Big Dave gets us a goal kick. We need to be hearing from Madine and Clayton about now. Amos spoils an attack and we break and.....another decision goes their way. The sally again and....Davies clears for a throw. Moxey not sounding like he's having his best game as they sniff at us. They come again and Rosenior and Murphy cause a bit of havoc to no end result. And now..........

Bristol City coming from behind to lead at Ipswich means we're currently bottom of the league.

But it also displays how close this division is, and how illusory leads can be.

Judging by the pre-season predictions, a few would have been happy to be a point behind Brentford, Wolfs and Big-Spending Bristol City. But as it stands, all are in the bottom six.

Attendance 13,405 - I'm guessing Brighton barely brought 405 but whatever they brought, it's a worrying home turnout. The gates slide continues.

aye... but I was only gonna be happy with just over half way - and Lenny says he's aiming for top 10...

(but then - I'm not easy to please and Lenny's clearly a sandwich short of a picnic! )

Nervously gabbling but I've just noticed their bench includes the brilliantly-named Mäenpää. Don't they run a chain of small shops in the US?
