Over committed, nobody back and a quick break and cross gets nodded in. A Feeney slip up causes us to twice let the lead slip.Hope N.L. roasts our sloppiness. The come again and......Phillips smashes one straight at Amos. Madine, sets us of but it all ends back with Green. We set off again and.....Pratley does well and we get a free and they get a yellow card. Free kick us and.....and.....it's half time with a dissapointing drop.

Neil Lennon's reading the players a story. It's called "How to combine defending and goal scoring all in the same game"

Ah well, it's a 45 minute game then. All square at half time away from home isn't suicidal. although losing after being 2-0 up might inspire it in some. Get a grip, get back in front and stay there. Simple. COME ON YOU WHITES...... :oyea:

There is somehow something about us over the past few seasons where whatever we have out on the pitch we just lack the ability to win games. Is it mentality? I think it must be. 2-0 up and you really have to start slowing the game down and grinding it out. We just seem to throw it away.

Whoever the manager and players and combination of we just seem mentally weak.

Having said that lets get out there put it behind us and get a third. There is at least a point here if not more if we mean it!

When was the last time we had a early lead and managed to see it through to the end? :conf:

Curtain rises on manager seated with head in hands and steam emerging from ears. Talk of a draw and a point seems almost like defeat. Get in, fight, get the goals back and get the fans cheering.

Part two and away it goes with an early mention of Bury. We wait while sand is evacuated from somewhere or other and there is a reshuffle for an apparent injury from the bad challenge on Pisano. Wheater in the middle and Prince over to full back it seems.

Does that mean a shift to a 3? Or is Wheater filling in on the right (I think he's done that before?)...

EDIT: Tango has provided the relevant info... Prince at RB doesn't seem too bad he seems the athletic sort that would be okay in a full back position.

We go via a Amos goal kick before we get a throw. They visit and....Danns clears then get a free kick in the middle of the park. Wheater and.....now Danns, Moxey and Dervite knocks it out and gives away a throw to them. Some nonesense about Scottish league stuff before we start off again.....Wheater does nothing special and Amos finishes up with the ball. We go, Davies and.....it's scrambled clear. Bit of sloppy stuff again and then a goal kick us. Q.P.R will feel they can win this unless we score again and.....they go offside to take the pressure off a bit. We go, they clear, to and fro before they wallop it clear and Thomas "cons" the ref says mic man. Corner them off a deflection as the world stops for a report about...Oldham......and then Thomas flicks one in and Amos makes a stunning save. Offside anyway apparently. They are having too much ball at the moment. Lennon not happy with the ref.

Absolutely spot on....

Its not surprising though that we concede so many easy, soft, goals away from home - this squad is mentally very weak & lacks any winners or leaders on the pitch, players who will roll up there sleeves and fight - run through a brick wall etc..

We've hardly had a shot at goal since they scored their first - since 14th min !

Been saying that for years though through different players and managers. Weird.

Confusing stats: They've got the better of everything (corners, shots, shots on target) except possession (55% to us), and yet they're having too much of the ball.

Mic man still claims it's a good performance by us as we build up with the speed of light ahem, as mr Ref gets slated again for an odd decision. Yellow card for somebody as we take a quick free and Dervite gets a chance. Danns....free kick them...Thomas making a nuisance of themselves again and.....Clayton has no support up front. Amos, Danns, ball lost then regained and Davis and Danns creep forward before Feeney gives one away. They come and Thomas sails one then they get a throw. Amos....oh, wait, update about Bury. Things sounding a bit erratic before the homers charge us and....Wheater clears, then Henry does the same. Thomas sallies again but Prince, Davies and Pratley have a bit of a sally.........and it's 3-2.......

Not really... we are just too soft. It's the opposite of the 'we'll score one more than you' attitude... we'll always let them score one more than we have.

Same old mistakes again it would appear. Switching off just before half time. Slow out of the blocks in the second half. Giving the ball away cheaply. Not closing down players in space outside the box.
