Oh perfect. Just the sort of extra negative attention the club were crying out for.

If true, this does not look very good.

Re: Dirty boy!
I heard about this around 4-5 weeks ago and I posted on another thread that there was something going on behind the scenes with Lennon that I couldn't say anything about.
I was told directly by a friend of the family who had been told directly by the girl in question and was adamant that the girl wasn't lying. Its no surprise that the team's not been performing when Lennon has had other things on his mind, apparently his wife knows about it and wants to leave Bolton and has done for months - I'm surprised its took so long to become public.

First time this season he's got a result away from home.

That has to be the most poorly written article that I've ever read.

I thought that too. However it is a follow on piece to this, which helps a little. In print this comes first.Bruce Rioja wrote:That has to be the most poorly written article that I've ever read.

"When Kim suggested he print off the league table and highlight the position his side would be in if they were to win, he did it, texting her: “If we win tomorrow you will get bonus x”."
So they never consummated the relationship?

Gallows humour, Bish. This season has descended into farce. An omnishambles.

Re: Dirty boy!
OK ... there are a few points here.
"He met her in a local pub" ... Fannies I'm guessing. Wasn't that where he meets LeverEnd & shares intimate secrets with him in the khazi ? .....the same LeverEnd who's now left Bolton ? We need to know.
Then he took his 24yr old "lover" to the team hotel and was very open about it in front of the team. Yet got proper miffed about Bannon & a.n.other messing about late at night. At least we now know why he as so insistent that the team got together the night before matches.
The big question being ..... does he allow her to wear a bob-hat ?
This "team hotel" is in Standish. We own a fecking hotel. Is it me ??
At least the "third woman" is a Bolton fan !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Dirty boy!
Just when you think the club can't get any lower.
This could be the perfect reason to sack him for bringing the club into disrepute. No compensation needed.
Might have a fighting chance of getting a win then.
Get rid, and take the crap signings with you

Doubt it. Who would make that decision?TKIZ! wrote:Will this get him the sack?
He should have been sacked weeks ago and would have in my view if we weren't in a total mess otherwise.

Nope, Lennon knows Eddie Davies won't put a penny into the club so however bad Lennon's results and behavior he won't be sacked. Thanks Eddie.TKIZ! wrote:Will this get him the sack?

It would be a valid reason to show him the door without notice. However, who would take the current poisoned chalice.Martin_Cruise wrote:Nope, Lennon knows Eddie Davies won't put a penny into the club so however bad Lennon's results and behavior he won't be sacked. Thanks Eddie.TKIZ! wrote:Will this get him the sack?
It could also be a valid reason for him to put his cards in. "Wife insists I leave the area" etc. Again cost free. Again, who would replace him ?
