NL: "I won't go into details but there are some things you can't tolerate. You have to put a marker down and that's what I've done. It's up to Gary now; the ball is in his court. It was a hard decision to make as we are down to the bare bones and you feel like you're cutting your nose off to spite your face. But I won't tolerate that sort of behaviour from anyone in the dressing room and it opens up a can of worms with the other players if I do. There has got to be a certain level of discipline." Suggests he could be in contention this weekend but "that's down to Gary."

Sounds pretty bad to me and the other players have seen what went on.
If he's overstepped the mark then it's his fault we were without his services tonight and not Lennon's. I'd sack Lennon tomorrow if it were up to me me, but my instinct is to back him over that shithouse.
It's not the first time he's been missing when needed whether he's in the team or not.

I did say at the time that Pratley should slap Amos. Maybe Madine stepped into the breach? Just as long as someone did.LeverEnd wrote:Lennon says Madine sropped for disciplinary reasons and incident was on Sat in dressing room after match.

Its just given lennon another excuse for being shit and employing shit tactics in another away game. Distraction. Gary Madine could of played as a 12th man and we'd not got any nearer scoring tonight.

And the new manager?LeverEnd wrote:NL: "I won't go into details but there are some things you can't tolerate. You have to put a marker down and that's what I've done. Agree a manager has to have some discipline rules and players can't just go firing off and ignoring them. Madine's shown his temper publicly before. Have some sympathy with Neil Lennon there. That said, I have no sympathy for him after not addressing the game tonight. It doesn't need a Jose Maurinho to see we had nothing at the sharp end. All I did was hear it from the commentary, but they were really pxssed off with Lennon when it was obvious we needed to attack. Seven minutes left is no time to be thinking changes will work. Stupid.

You could clone the fxcker and play several of them extra and all he'd do would be interfere with himself, the wanker.officer_dibble wrote:Its just given lennon another excuse for being shit and employing shit tactics in another away game. But Lennon is a wazzock, a top top wazzock. A class A wazzock. A wazzock of the first order with oak leaves. The number one wazzock in BWFC's recent history ( and to remember that includes Coylie boy and Freedman that says something)...
That's not a leopard!

First match I've been to on ages, might as well stayed at home and stuck pins in my eyes. Birmingham could have literally played with no goalkeeper and we still wouldn't have scored.

Not interested in Madine, I want to know why he didn't make subs earlier.

We're downer than a very down thing.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

We looked to be playing with all the calm, composure and lack of urgency of a side three up instead of one down.

It was like we were set-up and instructed to grind out a 0-1 loss.TANGODANCER wrote:We looked to be playing with all the calm, composure and lack of urgency of a side three up instead of one down.

In most of the games we play opposition defenders are on our forward men as soon as they get near their box. Our lot always seem to back off and adopt a "beat me if you can" attitude, which isn't that hard to do considering the amount of soft goals we give away. We should be snapping at heels, not seeing clean ones.

He's no more a left winger than Clough is a lone forward. We've now reached the classic death throes of a manager who doesn't know where best to play the players he's got, playing a system that doesn't suit the available players, ignoring ones he's recruited, and saying it'd all be ok if he was allowed to recruit more.LeverEnd wrote:And who says Mark davies doesn't cxontribute enough?

Yes I do think he's at that 'feck it I'll be out of here soon anyway' stage.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:He's no more a left winger than Clough is a lone forward. Was just a joke about Mavies having our only on target shot.
I'm firmly in the camp that says he contributes far too little though, and not always out of position.
This game for me showed what a difference a really good manager can make in this division when you're struggling financially. Well, not the game, but the gulf in points and positions after it.
Started at similar times, Lennon's had more constraints recently it's true, but Rowett's taken a struggling, weak squad and done wonders with it on a very tight budget.
