I reckon we could see Vela go today, but as long as we don't lose Spearing, I'll be happy. I'd prefer to keep Woolery if we can, he makes a great impact sub.

Given we are light in midfield and Lee Anderson has previously said Vela/Spearing aren't going anywhere would be a huge surprise surely?

Having said that Amos going was a surprise so who knows?

Worried ?

I tell you what, drop us a line the day you don't have a bad feeling.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Relax. I heard we have drafted Harry Redknapp in to help. We've got three days from now to finalise any deals......
I think we've drafted Dougie in too. BN reporting that Keshi Anderson is "very likely" to come in on loan from Palace.

I've been very happy with the club recently. As the you well know. Hopefully they will pull it out of the bag today. I don't think I'm alone in concern over the squad size, our manager being first and foremost to express that 'worry' yesterday. Perhaps have a word with Parky too....

You seem to have a bad feeling every time you click on the TW bookmark.

Morning all. Busy day ahead, all the way through to the 11pm deadline and beyond. If I hear anything I'll tell you.

BN report this morning and liveblog says:

• We'd lined up two Premier League loan deals, a defender and a striker – "but all bets now appear to be off"
• EFL not expected to be flexible on the 23 number, despite Davies injury
• It seems to be "legal" for us to loan players out and pay their wages, in order to obey the 23 limit
• Parky wants up to four in, which means up to three out. Parky has said two have already been earmarked to leave if the right incomers become available
• Talking to Arsenal attacking midfielder Gedion Zelalem, but so are plenty of others
• Palace striker Keshi Anderson said to be on his way north as we speak, we're looking for season-long loan with a break clause, but others are interested inc MK Dons
• Polish sources claim we're after 26y-o RB/CM Tom Hateley, club aren't confirming it
• Two options for goalkeepers, inc Man City's Ian Lawlor (21, loaned to Bury last season)

Just to add to DSB list above, Lee Anderson last night, denied the Zelalem link.

Some suggestion on Twitter that Tomas Sorensen is on his way in as back up GK//Coach. An interesting rumour, if nothing else. Having said that, several news feeds have him as having signed for Melbourne in the Aussie A League as recently as 3 days ago.

Evidently August is the month for surprising goalkeeper news, but that would be particularly unwelcome for Lee Butler, our goalkeeping coach who has worked with Parky for three years.

Please keep this thread updated for us who cannot access Twitter or the other transfer thread sites. I am on holiday at the moment and have limited access to the internet. It is good that I have one site where I can check all the latest Bolton gossip and possible transfers.

Thanks all and keep up the good work.

We'll get fck-all done inward. Certainly not the 4 that PP wants.

Where's Raziak when you need him ?
