Excellent thread title. I'm just glad we didn't play them last night. They'd have had to declare by half time. Yorkers or not

Anything other than a win and we're down.

Which isn't going to happen.

So 2-1 to us it is then.

Although I cannot see anything other than a thrashing, this is one of those fixtures which could see the Wanderers win their first away game in over a year?

Great thread title. Certainly better than The Final Count(y)down that I was going to suggest.

A year today since our last away win. We'll get stuffed here, but as others have said, it shouldn't be the kids who take the beating.

As much as I like the idea of giving the young players a chance, they're just going to go into next season demoralised because of how bad these results have been and will continue to be. Derby just beat a good Hull side 4-0 so what chance do we have of escaping a battering? Nobody benefits from these results, it just hurts the players we're going to rely on next season so I think I'd rather see us play those who've let us down and let them take the one sided losses.

I hope they're not really that fragile... a few games at the end of a redundant season - a loooong summer - pre-season and a new manager in a lower division??? I reckon they'll survive! 8)

Well the U18's managed to let in 5 against Huddersfield and 6 against Sheffield in consecutive games. The U21/Devs let 5 in against Notts Forest, so I think they're reasonably well equipped to deal with a good ol' battering.

If their careers are derailed by a heavy defeat to a far superior tram they don't deserve one. Plus most of them aren't kids. They're adults. It's a chance to show some balls and if they lose draw determination from the experience

Surely this,is the one where we play Alex Samizadeh from the off,and he tears them a new one! Bagging a hatrick in a 4-0 win with Clough bagging the other. That,ll teach the feckers for turning their snotty noses up,at the lad!

I cannot be bothered, however, we were losing with the experienced players (coz they are crap) so lets stick with the young uns and explain to them that the result does not matter it is just gaining experience of the game in the big boys league ready for next season!

We will probably be fined by the FL for playing a weakened team!
