If you believe today's headlines, he may not even be allowed to manage a club once the FA are done with him. Let alone be choosy on what division he manages in.

But yeah it's not gonna happen.

Absolutely abysmal. Nobody, not a single player wanted the ball. Couldn't get rid enough quick. Them stood around watching.

Oxford had players who actually moved off the ball.

Our lot stood around and looked for someone else to do their jobs.

Shambolic.

Disgraceful....awful boring football if you can call it football, they could have won by more - their keeper didn't have a save to make & we haven't scored in the last 4 games and lost to Rochdale & Oxford

Parkinson's tactics are shambolic....and the players spineless, no spirit, no passion, no movement, no football - totally disjointed

They are getting no more money from me for a while until things improve and we start to at least look like a football team, the football on display is even worse than last season

Spot on Peter Thompson, the only tactic seems to be lump it up to the big guy. A team devoid of flair and pace we will be in a relegation fight before too long.

The three subs also made us worse. A lot worse.

I'm getting the words...Sammy Lee. Absolutely fcking clueless, players playing well below what they are capable of, and his signing mantra appears to be quantity over quality (but hey they look good on youtube). Seriously cannot believe we chased this guy for half the close season. Footballs shite, year on year we get fcking worse. Cannot be a set of fans who have had it as bad as us over the last 8 years. Every player who comes here turns to a gutless coward, every manager we get leaves his brains at the door. Fcking garbage, fck em off and let em play to an empty stadium. Infact let athy cols use the ground and put our lot out on the M61 for a game.

Well that was a whole new shade of shite. We were set up so narrow that we could've played on a bowling alley, still, with Henry in behind Madine and Clough at least I could see what we were trying to do which I couldn't on Tuesday. Problem is, with such a lack of service from midfield they were largely isolated. Fair play to Henry for mucking in and trying to make something happen because our only other 'tactic' was to nice person it up to Madine.
Now then, I want to hear Parkinson's answer to this. If the problem wasn't the front three, but the service to them was, then how in the feck does he think that taking the front three off and replacing them with a poorer version (including the utterly comical Ameobi) is going to improve things? I'm all ears, Parky.
Dean Moxey's back to his shittest, I see. When he isn't throwing our throw-ins straight to their goalie he's getting mugged in possession leading to them a second goal. Questions again though - after Howard's smart save from the initial shot how come two Oxford players were falling over each other to put the rebound away without a white shirt in sight?

Truly awful, awful stuff this afternoon and fully deserving of the stick they got at full time.
May the bridges I burn light your way

I think the interest in this thread shows that people are losing interest, and who could blame them?
Stats and results speak for themselves. Scabbing a few one goal wins against slow starters keep us off the bottom. There is nothing to suggest we will get better. The loanees are a joke to a man. Disinterested and gutless.
I always wondered why no bigger club picked up PP when Bradford were in the headlines. Now I know, because they went to see his team play.

Poorest I think I've ever seen. My first match was in 1971 so that's saying something. Madine and Spearing were adequate, the rest utterly woeful. Ameobi wasn't comical Bruce, it's was his powder puff challenge that lead to their second. I wasn't laughing. I'm not sure we have the players to turn this round or a manager who has a clue how to. Key question for PP today, what exactly was your game plan??
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Have to echo what Bruce says. Taking off the front three only made us worse. Left us open as Ameobi is the laziest bugger ever seen.

The problem was the midfield had no control of the game and couldn't supply anything to the front three.

End of the day I don't think it's worth discussing tactics when players play with such low intensity and desire. They wanted it more. We looked just like last season.

Very, very depressing and needs fixing immediately.

This is bollocks by the way. The manager brought three attacking players on and we were wide open.

The issue isn't negativity of the manager, you can argue that if we compete. But the players couldn't be arsed today and had such little desire. Parky needs to sort that and take responsibility for it.

I think that one of the things that our players have failed to pick up on is simply that the lower down the football pecking order you play - the less time you get on the ball. Maybe this'll dawn on one or two of them at some point.

It's bollocks to suggest that was why we've lost the game.

Problem is Bruce he signed most of 'em. Shouldn't he have thought about getting players who can play at this level when he was on youtube doing his homework?
