Anybody can find one, but not one that’s royalty-free. Might be unwise to lift BWFC-owned imagery while unflatteringly discussing their increasingly obstreperous leader.Enoch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 3:01 pmI guess they couldn't find a photo of Anderson?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 1:26 pmAcrostic japes aside, that’s an interesting read. Never one to worry which way the tide's running, I'm bound to say the old rouge has, up to now, worked something of a miracle.
There were several points before he rocked up when I thought we might go under, since he's been 'stinking up the place' I've not felt that way, to date.
Whatever else he's done there's no doubt he took on a basket case and here we are two years down the line and still bobbing along. I appreciate he's no messiah but I wonder how many other folk out there (those all knowing among us apart) could have achieved what he has and don't forget it was there for the taking. Anyone with a few bob that wanted to take it on at the time would have been in front of Kenneth in the queue.

Ken's latest guide to winning friends and influencing people....
John McGinlay banned from co-commentating with Radio Manchester for the WBA game due to his "appearance at the fans' forum and involvement in the protest". All media privileges withdrawn.
How very Trump. I think Ken is taking lessons.

How's that work? Does Ken own Radio Manchester? Media circuses aside, surely it's not possible to decide who it is who somebody else employs??BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 3:51 pmKen's latest guide to winning friends and influencing people....

More like Trump taking lessons from Anderson.
Tell you what, maybe his next positive contribution would be him banning the opposition forwards (due to some andersoned up reason).

He can ban McGinlay from being in the press area at the stadium. Can ban him from entering the stadium.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:01 pmHow's that work? Clearly cannot ban RM from putting him on from the studio. I was paraphrasing - please do not get into semantics about the "banned" thing. He's had his press pass at the stadium and priviliges withdrawn. He could if RM could make this happen still co-commentate from a TV screen. Or I assume using a radio mic sat in the stands....

I think it amounts to free entry into the stadium and a badge that admits you into the press area. Without a badge you aren't allowed into the press area or commentary boxes etc....Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:18 pmI wasn't getting into anything. Aye, that's what a "press pass" (as we used to call it) does...
Interesting re McGinlay - in his previous column Ken danced right up to it but didn't dare have a go at a folk hero - or so I thought. Now he's banned him, so he's presumably calculated that such a move isn't going to do his reputation any more harm with any more people than he's already happy to carry on with.

So, I hope you take in the right way when I criticise your post above.
1. "didn't dare have a go"... - Maybe he did dare, but thought it prudent not too.
2. "presumably calculated'... - Maybe, like most of us, he didn't calculate anything, just got more pissed off than he was before!

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
K.A could have repaired his image a little with me (just a very little mind) if he'd either maintained a discreet silence or better still, just laughed it off (no, maybe not, it would be taken as anti-everything). This looks so very childish and does no favours to him. By banning John McGinley he's thumbing his nose at the fans; not a good idea any time.
