With 4 wingers in the squad now I hope this means Parky is going to switch to 4-4-2 or something resembling that

Two full back/wingers, two midfield wide men come wingers and two wingers each side of a striker. That should confuse somebody.... :D

God player. Interesting to see what he does with the team now. As has been said no way he is on £4500 k p/w, plus C Taylor still here, embargo got to be relaxed surely?

I can't see it TD, I think its a wind up, we couldn't even afford 1/4 of his probable wages - but personally IMO it would be our best signing in a long time.

A proper midfield hard man / ball winner / leader which is just what we need.

What we certainly don't need, is a player who's recently been suspended for twelve months.

I remember Noone looking like a very dangerous player against us in Freedman's managerial debut. In fact, I even seem to remember one of their fans posting on here to warn us all about how he was going to rip us apart (or something similar). I don't know why he's been let go but if he's still capable of playing as well as he did that night then he could be a very useful addition.

When I read that Parky had singed Noone I thought it was poor grammar ;)

Anyway, I shan't pretend to know anything about him as I don't play computer games. Hope he's one of the ones we need though.

Looks like that is it. Leaves us very short in midfield. Hopefully we can get out of embargo and pick up a free transfer or two. Still quality is lacking in this squad as it stands sadly.

Quality? What did you really expect given our situation? Get Wheater, Sammi and Vela back in the side plus the signings and loanees and we'll be as good as we could feasibly expect. I feel sorry for Parky trying to do his best against all the odds.

Agreed, is Spearing the best free centre mid out there then?

Played against us a few times, been a while since I played champ man too! He is good (not god), at this level. Or he was a couple of seasons ago.

Diagouraga has been released from Leeds. I remember him being a good defensive midfield for Brentford a couple of years ago. But yeah, for us at least, Spearing probably what we need...
