^^ Sounds a decent addition to me. A replacement for Vela??
Iles also tweeting "A lot more to come from Parkinson on Madine. A very interesting situation developing", after tweeting "Parkinson has confirmed one bid has been rejected for Madine. Says it would be "crazy" to sell".

Sounds good. We needed something in midfield. Even if that something allows Josh to drop deeper (he's not as good there but needs must).
I'm predicting that if Madine goes this window, so does Parky and his team.

Yep, though that was the silver lining to big Per leaving. This would be the extra rain cloud under the storm.Dr Hotdog wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 2:05 pmIn a Colin Todd - Per Frandsen - Blackburn repeat?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 1:47 pmSounds good. I was in Redditch - I'd just come out of a meeting at Halfords HQ to be exact. My sadness at learning we'd lost Frandsen was immediately tempered in a punch-the-air stylee upon hearing that Todd had resigned. Great coach, I've no doubt, but never a manager in the memory of man.

Re: The Promotion Commotion Transfer Thread 2017
If he’s a hard worker who links up, he could suit Parky’s idea of a No.10. Which is good, because at the moment our second option appears to be the Postman - not that I don’t love him, but I do think he’s best wide right.
Also gives the option of pushing Vela deeper, which may not be ideal but may be necessary until we get bodies in.

Great article that pal. I'd forgotten all the stuff around Hargreaves and the 'winning' of the tender for building the ground. Great that the one player mentioned in there that we did hang onto was Gardner. According to Alan Nixon (yes, I know) we're chasing an English premier league centre half on a loan, with a view to a permanent signing. Must be someone almost out of contract!

Or someone that has kicked around the U23 squad and played the last 20 seconds of a match because everyone else was being rested.

I don't think that is cynical. I think its 100% going to be the case.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 4:11 amOr someone that has kicked around the U23 squad and played the last 20 seconds of a match because everyone else was being rested.
