Great work, except the possible game on 18th is AFC Fylde from the initial pre season list.

Aberdeen didn't play their friendlies between Europe League games last year.

Good spot/memory; the game against the tier-6 (north) champions was announced back in May, but doesn't seem to have been mentioned since by the club or the local paper. Anyhoo:

Which means that Dundee, seemingly fixture-free, might be our oppo.
Dundee United are playing at home to Raith. Given how close Dundee & United grounds are it seems unlikely, at least on the Saturday.

Aye, running out of Saturday options. And Dundee are playing on Tuesday (at Raith) so won't fancy a game on the Sunday. Friday night, perhaps...?

The first listed friendly - for an "XI" at West Didsbury & Chorlton, next Wednesday - has been postponed and will now be played during the season. First glimpse of your heroes will now be at Chorley (first XI), a week Saturday.

Welcome back football. Great to start pre-season with a win. Builds a bit of confidence and good vibes. It seems like we have some good young talent coming through. A healthy sign.

Not sure beating a 10 man Chorley side gives much reason for optimism (yes I know its pre season and results don't matter!!)

Scoring 3 goals in one half should though.

Players who have travelled up to Scotland, no Ben Amos so hopefully he's getting fixed up somewhere else, and no Jake Turner who I think has been away with England U18s recently.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Everyone's favourite sun journo says Ameobi will.ve heading up to Scotland.
I doubt Lee A would risk losing followers if it's not a done deal.
Will be good to have him back.

...and it looks like these young'uns will get a good runout tonight at Arbroath. (Source: official site)
The likes of Harry Brockbank, Ryan White, Jeff King, Cole Lonsdale and Connor Hall are all set to start after starring in Saturday’s victory against Chorley.

The manager said: “Although several senior players will be involved tonight, myself and Steve (Parkin) will be using the opportunity to take a look at some of the younger players. It will be a chance for them to show us that they are pushing closer to the first team and I’m looking forward to watching them in action.”
Worth noting that after Saturday's "game of two halves", tonight's substitutions are likely to take place around the hour mark. (Source: PP in BN)
We gave the lads 45 minutes each at Chorley but we will go 60-30 for Arbroath and Friday will be the same. I want things to step up a level. We need to start getting something extra in the squad. We are short in some areas and I’m sure people can see that. This squad is still a long way off being completed.

A 2-1 win at Arbroath (which is a proper lovely little place, btw, if you're ever up there. Smokies for breakfast - oh my. Smokies at anytime)

Anyway, once again after one of these games my real interest lies in learning as to what Parky made of it.
