Dirty Leeds after Parky rumour!
Earlier today, the72 reported that Bolton Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson was being linked with a move back to Yorkshire, this time to take charge of Leeds United.
Parkinson spent several years in charge of Yorkshire rivals Bradford City, overseeing a promotion from Sky Bet League Two, as well as a cup run which took them to the final of the League Cup.
He left the Bantams last summer to join relegated Bolton Wanderers, and enjoyed a successful season with the Trotters, taking them straight back to the second tier as they finished second in Sky Bet League One.
And his accomplishments this season have not gone unnoticed. Andrea Radrizzani is reported to be interested in speaking to the Bolton manager as he continues to search for Garry Monk’s replacement.

I think a more established name will get that job. Having said that its not long since they appointed david hockaday so who knows!
Ultimately having parky linked with other jobs will mean he is doing a good one here - so its no bad thing.

At this stage of pre-season it would be extremely damaging for us to lose Parky.
Hopefully Leeds decide on another candidate not requiring any compensation payment (which I presume we would be entitled to).

If Parky goes, so does next season's chances.

Not entirely but I agree we would be seriously damaged.
Owen Coyle is out of work....................................

Isn't the72 one of those twitter accounts that continually report us as being on the verge of making offers for under-contract players despite the transfer embargo preventing us from being able to?
Let's not start panic fannying on their say so.

I don't think it's quite as bad as some of the fuzzy-felt mix-and-match sites out there. Their BWFC archive is here: http://the72.co.uk/category/league1/bolton-wanderers
But you're right in that I wouldn't be hammering the worry-beads just yet. Even the bookies, who have a long history of shortening the odds on anyone in with a real chance, still have him somewhere up around 10/1 behind five or six others.

Absolutely the best job in the world Leeds. Any manager would be foolish to turn it down
