That sex tape with Paul Jewell shagging a call girl on the bonnet of his Vauxhall Calibra.

Remember when we were taken over by FV and we got rid of that slime ball Ken Anderson.

Re: The cheer us up memory lane thread
I've probably mentioned this a few times but, the funniest incident I ever witnessed at a footy game was when Bolton played home to Chelsea. I think it was a cup game.
Where I stood on the Manny Rd paddock, a group of lads always stood behind us, we called them the Daubhill (Dobble) men. This group had a runner who went for the pies and Bulls eye brown ale, this was every game and throughout it. This game reached half time and the Chelsea fans decided to run across the pitch from the Embankment towards the Lever end. One Dobble man ran towards the fences, armed with a pie in each hand. A Chelsea fan came over towards the Bolton fans in the Manny Rd Paddock giving us the V sign. At that moment I thought the Dobble man was going to scale the fence but, he launched this steaming hot pie where it exploded in the Chelsea fans face. This poor lad dropped to the turf screaming. Five star entertainment never seen the like since.

Re: The cheer us up memory lane thread
Two of my funniest moments/memories were at night Cup games:
One was against Arsenal where some guy with a parachute (think he was a Yank?) sky-dived into Burnden Park during the match and got himself arrested. The other was against Wimbledon. An idiot near us decided to flick a lit cigarette at Vinnie Jones who was taking a throw in. Vinnie looked down at the cig, picked it up, took a couple of swallows, grinned, raised a thumb then took the throw in calm as you please. These are things you don't forget.

Ivan Campo cheating
I don't remember a single occasion on which he didn't win a free-kick by doing this. Good lad

He must have done that 200 times and you had to pick that game.

Re: The cheer us up memory lane thread
After the week we've had, I'm drawing your inner fortitude into question if you're still getting upset about a game in which we were in the last 16 of the UEFA Cup. However, I understand where you're coming from

Just found a quiz on Sporcle - leading scorers over the last 20 years or so. Spoiler alert - will post the answers below, but for those who can't be arsed to do the quiz, just look at some of the quality we've had in recent times......

Cheers. 132. Missed lots before my time, then only Henrik I felt bad for through my season ticket years, then loads recently. Last season one of my worst!

Ran out of time very quickly. Got a few full house's in the 90s 00s but a few embarrassing omissions too.

I really must be getting old and sentimental but it was a bit of a shock to realise this thread was from 14 years ago. Looked everywhere for the photo with a bunch of faces,
but no luck. Just goes to show though how time really is flying...
