Earl is a left-sided defender usually listed as a left-back but he can play centre-back and is 6ft 4in, turns 21 in October.

I found it odd we registered these lads before today. Why not ONeil? Hobbs is searching for another club now apparently. Think others might be asking questions about us registering players pre takeover!
Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
I thought the same yesterday, I assume it's due to their ages and contract type.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 10:38 pmI found it odd we registered these lads before today. Why not ONeil? Bloody hell, forgot all about Hobbs. Had to google to see when we first signed him!officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 10:38 pmI found it odd we registered these lads before today. Why not ONeil? I think it’s down to cost and ease of doing said deals. But I think they were signed on basis dealDJBlu wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 11:30 amI thought the same yesterday, I assume it's due to their ages and contract type.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 10:38 pmI found it odd we registered these lads before today. Not sure what he's expecting on a player transfer to be honest. There isn't a deadline until transfer deadline day...I know he's trying to knit two "just keeps dragging on" stories into one, but that's scraping the barrel.

I think he means that we're in league one so deadline for deals is September rather than everyone else where deadline day is "end of this week". He's having a dig. The jumped up arse.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 10:27 amNot sure what he's expecting on a player transfer to be honest. Ched Evans has said he fancies a move to Fleetwood over us, as we know he tends to get his own way so I think we can chalk that one off.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
From the piss poor official site it seems we have a squad of 17?
Plus ST Darcy, CD Boon and Senior D?
GK: Annick, Matthews
CD: Zouma, Edwards?, White?,
RB: Brockbank,
LB: Earl (LOAN),
DM: Lowe,
CM: Murphy, Politic?, Graham?,
LW: Weir(LOAN), Oz?
RW: King-Harmes
ST: Brown, Magennis, Hall,
We're DOMED - we're spiralling down to the 16th Circle of Hell taking the scenic Accrington Gillingham Doncaster route!
League 2 at least...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
Hall and Oates, sorry, Hall and Earl each out injured for “eight to twelve weeks”. Not the sort of thing a threadbare squad can easily cope with. We will already have targeted strikers but now we need another left-back. Lafferty? Or has he gone somewhere?

Conway, Hobbs and Pringle back in according to Nixon. Has that left back been fixed up with a club in the meantime?

What if selling tickets directly funds wages / a new signing this week?

Lafferty? Not yet. He said before the summer that he was confident he could get a Champo move... but he trained with us.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 8:49 pmHas that left back been fixed up with a club in the meantime?
In other news, Nixon says Millwall asked after Alnwick, but he doesn’t want a southern club (remember he left Posh for us to be nearer his family in the NE). Not sure if that’s connected to Nixon’s earlier proclamation that we should expect one keeper in and one out this week.

Andy Taylor on a reduced 1 year deal is likely to be out of the question?
