I think it unlikely.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 9:30 pmAndy Taylor on a reduced 1 year deal is likely to be out of the question?
Read Wheater’s (excellent) interview with Iles. They’re only offering short deals, no extension options, no bonuses. And from the sounds of it, uncompetitive wages.

A jolly good interview - his revelation that Owen Coyle was superstitious with regards to line-ups tells you everything you need to know about the man's capability as a manager.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:26 amI think it unlikely.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 9:30 pmAndy Taylor on a reduced 1 year deal is likely to be out of the question?

They will be limited by embargo rules too......which are apparently tighter than we experienced last time.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:26 amI think it unlikely.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 9:30 pmAndy Taylor on a reduced 1 year deal is likely to be out of the question?

Plus I think Andy Taylor probably would rather do anything else but come back....

We'll not be able to afford anyone once the admission price has been talked down to 3 and 6. There'll be 27000 in the ground every week though

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
Hobbs has signed but can’t be registered, says Iles. Also “A handful of players are waiting to see if they will be offered deals. Craig Conway, Danny Lafferty, Billy Clarke and Ben Pringle are all training at Lostock on a daily basis in the hope that a takeover is completed.”
https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/1 ... owed-play/
Conway, 34, 5ft 7in Scottish winger, last played for Blackburn.
Pringle, 31, 5ft 9in left-footed midfielder (central or wide), blond, scored and MOTM v us in Jan 2015 (Lennon’s back three!), last played for Preston.
Clarke, 31, 5ft7in Irish striker, lower-league journeyman.
Lafferty, 30, 6ft left back, 13 Norn Iron caps, last owned by Sheffield United.

I'd be very happy with that business. Pringle seems to have lost his way a bit after looking a standout player a few years ago. Hobbs is definitely worth another season at L1 and could hopefully help young Zouma develop.
No sign of Thompson the lad from Bury?

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
He’s in his 20s, we only have dads and lads now
Seriously - not mentioned by Iles recently - and he’ll have options so he may see what shakes down. Thompson was linked with Ipswich (who have nobody in the no.6 shirt) before he came on trial to us. I dare say there’ll be other irons in his fire.
Remember, everyone, it’s deadline day for Prem/Champ but not L1/2. So there'll be a few potential loanees reassessing their options after today.

Christ Almighty. He's fxcked off to play football with a club that might actually pay his fxcking wages. He was shit for us, he'll probably be better with them because he won't be lumbered by a fxcking dinosaur of a manager who insists on playing plan fxcking A every time.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 6:05 pmHe’s shite

At this moment, who exactly ARE BWFC that they can confirm anything?

But that shithouse going is good news, hell get his arse handed to him every week without breaking a bone
Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
I'm sure any team signing Magennis is going to fit him into a tiki-taka non-clogging style of football.
He's a lump. A cowardly lump at that. Leaving kids to get injured. BWouldnt take bets on him fighting N'Gog the big tart. Just hope we've got our money back.
