Some important distinctions there. Still think it would help to shoot out a few tyres. Rumble along at a gentler pace. A canter maybe.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 3:05 pmI'm assured that no tyres need shooting. It's not a cliff edge but a cliff face we are driving towards. But, there is a narrow opening in the cliff face we can drive through.
Whether there is another cliff edge once we've negotiated the tortorous path through the cavern in the cliff face, I don't know.

Haven't seen this, what's the logic?Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:42 amI agree, although he seems to be getting a certain amount of shit from some quarters for paying the bill by some who didn't pay the bill. Just bizarre.Jim_McDonuts wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 10:16 amProps Mr James:

Not sure there is much logic to be fair and I'm not really following it but ST seemed to have some things to say as did SKD (apparently)Jim_McDonuts wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 12:27 pmHaven't seen this, what's the logic?Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:42 amI agree, although he seems to be getting a certain amount of shit from some quarters for paying the bill by some who didn't pay the bill. I've known broken bones (other people's) set faster than the announcement we are all awaiting.

Don't know why, maybe because of the shxt state of football right now, but I wish I could shake off the feeling that our new "owners" are just throwing lifebelts to tow us through a Piranha pond rather than get us safely aboard...I want to be so wrong.....

I'm sure that everyone involved behind the scenes including FV (if its them) is working as quickly as possible, they will all be aware of the required urgency with all that needs to be done in just over a month.
I think that we will get a formal announcement before the end of this week.

My gut feeling is that the shitey smell of uncle ken still lingers in the boardroom as he is busy trying to extract the maximum amount of pound of flesh that he can from our club
If i ever get to meet Michael James... I will pick him up and kiss him.... a Wanderer through and through - I sincerely hope that white wins over darkness in our dark days

I'm the same. No evidence at all other than the knowledge that he's a horrible c*nt who hates us and despite all the premature celebration of getting rid of him, he does still have a stake and a say in the future of the club.nelson66 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 10:47 pmMy gut feeling is that the shitey smell of uncle ken still lingers in the boardroom as he is busy trying to extract the maximum amount of pound of flesh that he can from our club

Re: Administration and recovery
Why does it feel so wrong?
I can't shake off the pessimism. Feels like last season hasn't ended.
To do list.
Complete take over.
Receive penalty for missed fixture.
Sort out Manager and back room staff.
Recruit 11 players.
Get them match fit.
Call me cynical but I can't see all that being completed before the 7th August.

Still no news. Finally realising this can't be good for Bolton Wanderers? Something isn't right and I fear big time for the clubs future.
