Re: Administration and recovery
Debbie Jevans from the EFL is now saying it is Friday midnight...
Funny how deadlines seem to focus minds. There are now four bids in to buy them. There is a live blog here. Hope it isn't a forerunner for a BEN version in the next few weeks...

It's going to be the worst deadline day for them ever. If it was on sky news then I would hope Jim White would wear a black tie.bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 4:11 pmDebbie Jevans from the EFL is now saying it is Friday midnight...

If anything has been learned is that 2 clubs are on the brink due to single person ownership. Maybe this is something the EFL can address in their fit and proper testing. No one should have enough share control of a club that can threaten it's very existence.

Hard enough finding one ego to bankroll a club, let alone several to work together. Look at the pissing contest we're caught in the middle of.

Ha!
Do you reckon this might be the deeply mysterious legal complexity that Insano knows about but doesn't understand?

I'm at home. It's only at work where Twitter's banned.
I am however blocked by Nixon. That's a screen shot from a LoVS Tweet.
I have no clue as to how you reduce the size of images

Hold them further away from your face. In this instance, hand it to a bloke in Peru.

Re: Administration and recovery
Hotel Admins covering their arses when they allow FV to buy the hotel even though the Kamanis bid is better?
Or Admins covering their arse against future Bassini litigation?
Or Hotel Admin covering their arse when they hand keys of the hotel to Boohoo and the club subsequently folds?
Or, even, Hotel Admins covering their arse against dubious title held by Anderson???

Re: Administration and recovery
I would have thought almost certainly Quantuma, unless (unlikely but possibly) it is James trying to get indemnity for the money he's owed as a creditor from fellow directors in businesses other than FV so he can use it in its entirety towards the purchase...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:53 pmDunno...clearly someone trying to get additional protection, not sure who over what...
I'm just wild guessing now. So pissed off I'll be out of touch just as it's kicking off.

I'm not as convinced it's Quantuma. Isn't a perfection against a security? Could be well wide of the mark, but it feels like it's one of the secured creds...Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 7:06 pmI would have thought almost certainly Quantuma, unless (unlikely but possibly) it is James trying to get indemnity for the money he's owed as a creditor from fellow directors in businesses other than FV so he can use it in its entirety towards the purchase...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:53 pmDunno...clearly someone trying to get additional protection, not sure who over what...

Re: Administration and recovery
Not just that necessarily, it can be an enforcement against an assignment of debt. But if it is merely a registration of security, in that case, I'd plumb for James then....Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 7:17 pmI'm not as convinced it's Quantuma.
