...and on that note. I hereby revoke my earlier statement. Nobody has yet won. Apart from Worthy's announcement (which was ruled invalid), there have not been any Announcements made. As yet. In the same way we hang on for the pitch, shirt, grin photo at player signing time, I'll wait until it's fully registered before I'm having any of it.
Sorry Bruce... I need it signed in blood.

Yep agree. But let’s just relax and worry about it tomorrow eh? There have been enough private announcements on this that haven’t panned out. If it falls through tomorrow we can light up the pitchforks then.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:07 pmMate, the amount of deals I've negotiated and have informed people about their successful conclusion only for them to collapse later are many.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 7:56 pmWhen people who work on the deal say it’s agreed - that’s good enough for now. I can’t imagine they’ve ok’d this without certainty. Suspect they hadn’t even written the PR and probably couldn’t be arsed doing so this evening.

Attack of the 50ft Minge.
Can I have 9.02am to call the deal done or is it too late?

On Wheater Iles says terms offered at Bolton not good. Points to a more austere future. Yay!
Re: Administration and recovery
No official statement, words like 'expected' and 'due to' and 'burning the midnight oil'.
I'd say if it's all true, then the Bristolian one is favourite.

Think you might have to split it? You did say announced anywhere on internet. And deal being agreed has been announced by the guy who has been working on it...via admin team. So it’s not officially done. But I think Bruce deserves half the winnings. Either that or a ‘super-over’ decider between him and morning winner tomorrow - time and date of first new to the club signing announcement.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:14 pm...and on that note. Not necessarily, it could also mean that they want to use the wages that Wheater wanted on a younger more athletic CB like the highly rated ex Bury CB.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:16 pmOn Wheater Iles says terms offered at Bolton not good. Points to a more austere future. Yay!
Perhaps Wheater was offered a wage more suitable on being an older immobile squad player - no loss, the proof being he's signed for Oldham.

We'll make a definitive decision later. We'll need forms signed and rendered in triplicate, and deposits in third party bank accounts...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:22 pmThink you might have to split it? Re: Administration and recovery
Oh, I understand you perfectly. However, I (we) have raised our hopes too many times now for me to allow myself another bout of restlessness. We shall indeed leave it until tomorrow when, all being well, I look forward to us rejoicingBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 8:15 pm
