The Dorothy Com Trophy, Rochdale away. Ist Oct. 7-45.. Tues
At the Crown Oil Stadium (Thought they might have had a Gracie Fields one by now). Since we didn't have a match thread, well, we do now...Have at it......

3-1 to win. Odds are coming down. Think we might play a full strengthish side as the U23s played last night.
L Murphy and Weir both played in the 2-0 loss to Hull.
Would be nice to see O'Grady in the team tonight. Just for options.

Only two changes. Sonny Graham in for Hobbs, and Politic for Daryl.
Interesting that Weir and LMurphy played U23 last night - as the closest thing this squad has to senior “reserves” they’d both have wanted/expected a start here. I get the feeling Hill isn’t enamoured. That post-Pompey quote about having nothing on the bench bar Politic was a stinger.

Yep; Luke Murphy looks like a goner doesn’t he!
Strong team barring the centre backs (Hobbs rested I am guessing).
We will win I reckon. COYWM!!

A big vote of confidence in Sonny Graham from Hill tonight. He's one who has a real chance of making it.

It’s neat enough but we’ve not looked like scoring

Dennis Politic is getting rather frustrating this evening. One touch too many. Trying to be cute rather than have a crack at goal.
Playing some nice stuff without really threatening.

Sounding a bit same as.....starting well, pressurising then getting pressured back.

I was just about to say how he has done nowt as well. Him and Verlinden needed waking up after ten minutes! Look light in midfield as well given we have a man over. Full backs have played well
