Barring a last minute change of heart, I'm going to skip tonight in favour of watching serial killer documentaries with my missus on Netflix, as that's likely to be an altogether less distressing experience.
If the post-game sentiment is that we've improved, I'll re-join Derek and the Sockshop crew for the Cambridge game on Saturday.

Dunno whether this is good news or bad, but I can't "log in" on either my phone nor a couple of different computers, so still can't buy a ticket....

We said that after FGR... and Newport...nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 12:54 pmI've just got a nagging feeling that last Saturday might prove to be this generation's Scarborough.
I'm genuinely intrigued to see Barrow's ground. Never even seen a picture. It's the new floodlight-spotting...
It's very odd. Didn't they "launch" (a rather ambitious word) a new ticket phone line recently? Shurely shomeone can help... if you want itWorthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 1:39 pmDunno whether this is good news or bad, but I can't "log in" on either my phone nor a couple of different computers, so still can't buy a ticket....

Well, if we don’t get a reaction tonight I’m not sure it bodes well for the non league Guardiola. I’ve definitely come round to the school of thought he needs some senior help. Three coaches (one specialist) seems very light to me. Think he’s been shortchanged by the elusive Tobias Phoenix myself ( Perhaps he only had two coaches on championship manager).
I’m not positive mind.
The 7o clock kick off time buggers it for me so I am out.

Oh despite the clear thread title, I hadn't spotted 7pm kick-off! Less time to resolve my support ticket...

Without fan-traffic concerns, 7pm seems to be the new default time - all our home KOs until Christmas have been rescheduled thusly.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 1:58 pmOh despite the clear thread title, I hadn't spotted 7pm kick-off! Less time to resolve my support ticket...

^^ That's the one. I'm having more excitement with my iFollow travails - after answering all their questions apparently I'd need to contact the Club for support! The good news is the Club FAQ seems to be telling me to contact iFollow. It's a sign. LOLZ.

Oh, I love those loops. My bank app isn't working, so it gives me a number. I call the number and a robot voice says – and here I paraphrase - THERE'S A PANDEMIC ON PAL, PEOPLE ARE DYING SO THIS BETTER BE PRETTY F**KING IMPORTANT SUNSHINE OR YOU WILL HAVE DEATH AND RECESSION BLOODYING YOUR FINGERS AND STAINING YOUR REPUTATION UNTIL DOOMSDAY GRASPS OUR GRATEFUL WRETCHED CORPSES TO ITS WELCOMING BOSOM. I think I've cracked it. No thanks to any of the support mechanisms...Tried "yetanotherbrowser" than the four I'd previously tried....and lo, my account that iFollow told me didn't exist, is there again!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 5:06 pmOh, I love those loops. Ah, glad that's sorted Worthy.
In other news, Oldham boss Harry Kewell has tested positive for coronavirus. Here he is on Saturday:

I have to say I feel vindicated in my decision not to watch this one after seeing that lineup.

He’s gone with my ‘all our left footers are shit’ theory.
I’d read it as he’s picked his best characters / hardest workers. Who the hell plays on the left hand side is anyone’s guess mind.

A mere two changes, I'd've thought you'd be pleased...Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:09 pmLooks like Fonz injured so Gnahoua? In

But seriously, I have no idea what's going on.
Crellin, Brockbank, Santos, Delaney, Baptiste, Kioso, Comley, Sarcevic, Crawford, Gnahoua, Doyle.
Subs Gordon, Taft, Hickman, Mascoll, Greenidge, Darcy, Tutte.
So that's four left-footers on the bench but only 1(?) in the team. No obvious left wing-back (but two, or four if you count the two LCBs, on the bench). Maybe just about play a 4-2-3-1 with Delaney as a staid left-back, Brocky RB, Santos/Baptiste in the middle... Comley/Sarce, then Gnahoua/Crawford/Kioso behind Doyle.
Hmm.
