Oooooh, so close. Brockbank inches from scoring at the back post. No

Was just thinking Sarcevic had been quiet.

Should have scored.
Harsh. Not sure he was likely to from that angle. Think Brockbank would have been offside. When we get the call forward quickly we look a better side than when we pass it around. In my opinion.

Another waft forward for a goal kick.

During John Beck's long-ball reign here they let the grass grow longer in the last 20 yards so it would hold up. I imagine they've cut it since, though.

Good defending (Sarce header) and pressing from their corner. Nice. COYWM

Mate if you can tell offside from this angle fair play!

For me our midfield balance is wrong. Crawford and Sarcevic are different on the ball but both seem to be the type that like to drift in and out of the game. It means we lack that dominance in there. Tutte is all action but we need another in there with him for me.

"Lovely play from Bolton, this" says Derek, as Kioso plays a two-yard pass two yards away from its intended target

Crawford just doesn’t fancy the defensive side at all. Let his man go, didn’t close down twice.

Crawford is absolutely determined to not defend.

Encouraging start this. Sarc and Crawford both playing as we know they can

For me this is the problem. A lack of real drive in there. We are too passive because we have two midfield players who really want to play in the same place and in the same way off the ball.

I assume Cambridge have played much better than this because while disaster never strays far from our door, they've hardly looked like league leaders

I think everyone other than Crawford is putting the yards in. definitely better than the two home games.

I'm not seeing the same with Crawford, he's definitely putting a shift in, just a yard behind everyone else.

They’ve conceded 4 goals thus far. I suspect you don’t need to look much beyond that to see why they are doing well. And in fairness we don’t look like putting many past them either.
