Wanderers v Rovers, hmm.
I'm predicting a one goal win for us, regardless of our injury woes.
What says you?

We'll shit em 5-0.
Anything less is an insult to the U23s.
feck Tranmere, feck John Aldridge, feck Keith Hill.
I hope they come and play as bad as the smell of Eastham refinery.
Wankers.

Thread title is too generous. Needs reference to skip rats or bins.

Onto the match and I have a sneaky suspicion Tutte might play. Back training apparently.
I’d also bet on Brockbank over Greenidge at LWB.

I also thought Tutte might just sneak into the side but the game seems to have come a few days too soon for him. From IE's interview this morning:officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 1:13 pmOnto the match and I have a sneaky suspicion Tutte might play. Back training apparently.

"Andrew’s back on the grass but he will join in with us next Monday for a return for the boxing day fixture"
So looks like another game for the midfield three of Thomason, Sarcevic and Isgrove. Kieran Lee could be a wildcard to play a part IF signed in time, but we've heard no more of that being any closer so I doubt it.
Kioso and Gnahoua will miss out with shoulder injuries, but sounds like Brockbank is back fit and will be involved. Like you say, probably in place of Greenidge, who most likely got the nod on Tuesday solely for his aerial presence.
Tranmere's season has been very similar to ours. Tipped as promotion contenders by many, they initially struggled, only winning two of their first ten, but they then won all four league games in November to drag themselves up to mid-table. Their momentum has faltered slightly due to a 3-1 home defeat to Walsall 2 weeks ago and a 5-0 hammering away to Exeter last weekend.

Versus Tranmere. What else need be said? "The song is ended but the memories linger on.!"
Three points any which way you like.

I reckon there's an outside chance of a 1.55pm signing announcement and five minutes later Kieran's in the team.

Could be a case of Evatt keeping his cards close to his chest and springing a surprise for the opposition a la Eoin Doyle for the Salford game.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 3:24 pmI reckon there's an outside chance of a 1.55pm signing announcement and five minutes later Kieran's in the team.
I really hope it happens - even a 70% fit Lee would be far too good for this league.

Not if he can’t run!
What kind of reception would Keef Onions get tomorrow? I thought he was a muppet but he’s not worth a boo. I’d be saving that for oldgrudge and Elton welsby.

You forgot that ugly c*nt Chris Malkin. Tut.
My.mum repeatedly brings up the fact I sulked for about 2 weeks solid after the playoff defeat in 91. Didn't help that I had a race for Bolton harriers at Bebington Oval the next day. Driving in on the coach fecking flags everywhere. Went off like a bat out of hell in sheer anger, blew up and got passed by everyone. Didn't help the sulk.
Feck em. 3-0.

I'd just like to say, Tranmere doesn't appear anywhere in my top 1,000 list of things I give a shit about. Life's too short to even give the place any thought outside of we happen to be playing them today.
I will listen to the commentators pre match 3/4- 0 win predictions and wonder who they're watching week in and week out.
Then I'll just hope we manage one more goal than they get and would be happy with that.

I hear you Worthy. The way their Neanderthal fans abused our young lads last season, most of whom weren’t born the last time we played them, reminded me what a set of horrible thick bastards they are. Would enjoy ruining their season!

Tranmere are only as important as we choose to me make them. Like Worthy says, in reality, that's not very. Beating them is worth three points and that the most important thing about them. COME ON YOU WHITES....

Hickman makes way as Greenidge drops to the bench.

I'm expecting defeat today. Every time I think we may have turned a corner, we usually shoot ourselves in the foot by the next game.
1-2 loss

Jay Spearing starting, can see him going full pelt and maming someone from the off. Needs a strong ref today, suspect we’ll get a shite one.
