Good half. Played well. Created chances. More of the same and a goal or two please.

Very good half of football, apart from the finishing. When we go forward we are cutting them apart agree re isgrove who has played exceptionally well
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

Performance excellent. I mean there's not much more to say really other than Lee has to score, and we'd be happy coming in in front.

Would not like to be Kieron Lee at half time. Mind you if I was then we’d be 2-0 up. Should be thinking about the journey home with the points in the bag. I’d be subbing him for Zack and moving Delf inside.

All those shots on goal and their keeper hasn’t had to make a save ffs!

I wonder if Lee would've missed that second chance if he hadn't missed the first?
A good half of football, but I desperately hope we don't pay the price for not being clinical.

Exciting first half. Lee has missed 3 easy chances. He is not a goalscorer in his career but my word, the last one was a real sitter. Isgrove had an amazing half and we are a different team with him in it. Thomasson has also done well. Delf very quiet as usual. Wouldn't be surprised if he scores one.

Idk, when you're making chances I'm not sure I'd be making changes. He's played well otherwise, helps the press. Go out and make it right.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 05, 2021 3:51 pmWould not like to be Kieron Lee at half time. Mind you if I was then we’d be 2-0 up. Suspect he’s only coming off if we are winning. Hopefully we’re relieved and not rueful at full time.

The second of the three is the one I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on (possible bobble) until I see it again.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 05, 2021 3:54 pmI wonder if Lee would've missed that second chance if he hadn't missed the first?
With the other two I'm struggling to comprehend how a man who does nothing other than play football for living can feck up that badly and in the manner of a Newhouse Farm second choice substitute?!

Perhaps folly playing a career up and down midfield player without a particularly great scoring record as your attacking midfield player? Not that we have lots of options we are really missing Sarce here.

Is it me or are half times getting longer?
Re: Who'll parade their plonkers at the Rodney? - Newport away April 5th, 3pm
I don't know, I'm putting them down as freak misses. Hope it doesn't encourage Newport and cost us. Play the second half like the first I'm confident well win.

Just feels longer without the obligatory half time queue.

They've taken a defender off to put another attacker on. Here we go!

Suppose it doesn't matter too much given that there isn't a crowd of people waiting.

It’s just got the hallmarks and feel of a Newport win to me. Should be out of sight. Even one nil id fell confident of something. But I’d say mostly missing those sorts of chances in a concentrated period leads to frustration.
