Be Wise and Ern it: Morecambe (A) Sat 24/4/21 @ 3pm

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

We’re can’t get denied automatic promotion by a club whose badge is a massive prawn. Have some pride, Bolton.

Funny feeling we're going to get a new scorer today - a Santos or a Dapo

But I would be perfectly happy for it to go in off their keeper's arse

I have same feeling. Also dreamt it was 3-2. Not sure which way.

Got to take the game from the first whistle. Give teams in this league a sniff and a soft goal sees us fighting uphill from the off. If a butcher drops a sausage, he can't complain if a dog nips in and grabs it. Not the dog's fault, it's nature. Focus and concentration are what we need with a desire to win. Morecambe are Shrimps not prawns (that's so Old Traffford) and whilst we give them respect, today is about Bolton. No mercy, they won't give us any. Get in and win...!

Off to walk the dog, jobs in the garden then sitting down for the most important 90 minutes in years.

Good luck lads. Leave nowt on the pitch at the end :oyea:

I'm gonna serve it to you
And that ain't what you want to hear
But that's what I'll do

Altogether now. COYWM.

Lots of Wanderers fans outside the ground. Mentalists. Love it!

My lack of optimism has dissipated and I've decided we're going to shit em.
The pressure and need to perform will bring the best out in them. COYW!!!
Likewise. We'll go at them from the off and they won't know what's fecking hit them. All those half chances will go the right side of the post and our players will dust their hands as they exit the field having administered a crushing, humiliating victory.

Look down on our work, ye mighty, and despair.

A nil-nil affair with a fraught last 20 minutes for us, but a well-earned point. ;)
A 1-0 "Panic Fannies" win would be better.

I'm so nervous about this game, I can't bear to watch and will probably avoid knowing the score until well after the final whistle.
I feel exactly the same. Problem is - I can't think of anything that can sufficiently distract me for two hours, to such an extent that I won't find myself glued to my phone anyway. :?
Yep - tried this on Tuesday, will a ton of urgent (screaming) distractions, still didn't help and spent the whole time blamming the f5 key...

Be a mix of nerves and excitement for the game but don’t forget the ten year journey of pure shite to get here. We might win, draw or lose but we’ve had a good go after January and no matter what happens tomorrow - We’re Bolton Wanderers and we are on our way back.

feck Ken Anderson.
feck his prick of an agent son, and their wives.
feck Dean Holdsworth.
feck all the people who creamed a living off us without the clubs best interests at heart.

And thank you Sharon Brittan and Michael James - can’t wait to get back to the ground whatever league we will be in.
100% this.

Ah shame on both accounts. Right choice for left back though.

Shame on John as I feel his quality is irreplaceable. Not keen on little I’ve seen of Jackson.
