Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Do we even have a u14/15 side now, or did we trash everything below the 18s?
Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Surely we must do. Can’t be that dear to maintain a basic level of kids football.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 12:34 pmDo we even have a u14/15 side now, or did we trash everything below the 18s?

Fylde are currently bottom of the National League with just 9 points from their opening 14 games so going to be a tough gig for them. Best of luck lads.

That explains what happened to Conway. Shame about Khumbeni heading out on loan. Thought he was looking useful enough.

Khumbeni has been dropped from the bench today because Vic's back. Won't be on the bench after the break as others come back. He needs a spell of men's football and tier 5 will be an interesting test. Sounds like he'll be busy.

I know the DoF at FCUM. I'll ask him to let me know how he gets on

Can't ask for much more than an 18-year-old getting MotM in his first game.

That's a cracking take too. Pace, feet and finish.

Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
I think that’s a favourite finish of his - ISTR him doing a couple for us before
July 13: Here's one from the other side, on his Bs debut v Lancaster July 18: Left-foot free-kick at Longridge Aug 7: scores winner v Leeds - "another Conway delivery was well controlled by Bryan before the striker swivelled and steered an excellent finish into the bottom corner of the net."
Oct 17: opens scoring v Huddersfield: "Ben Andreucci picked out Trevon Bryan with a curling pass down the left before the forward paced into the box and fired low beneath the Terriers' keeper to get Wanderers off to the perfect start."

Re: B Team Thread 22/23 Season
Nelson has been back for a couple of weeks now. Evatt actually put a keeper on the bench today due to lack of option, so there is (understandably) no apparent path for him to get minutes with us. Have we had anything out of the club regarding a new loan move?

Unless I'm mistaken, he can't go elsewhere because no player can play for more than two clubs during the same season.

Right. Thanks. I think I knew that was what had gone on and forgot. Appreciate the reminder.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 8:14 amUnless I'm mistaken, he can't go elsewhere because no player can play for more than two clubs during the same season.
